Can we get training dummies that attack us?

    Its called a "mob".

Dummys are for soaking up damage.
Power level to CP160 in a week:
Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

Makes sense that the dummy could help tanks and healers.

Damage log would also be interesting, i still don't care about trials so some ridiculous 2 minute fight doesn't help me, id like to get a report on each attack in a rotation or a burst etc

This would be amazing! Now who to tag so this post gets noticed... @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @Wrobel @ZOS_RichLambert @ZOS_GinaBruno

Currently there's really no way to know if your healer or tank is qualified to run the trial till everyone dies on the first boss. Healers really are at a stagenate, not knowing how to improve. Also assmuing it was possible then houses could be used to train for raids if the test dummies where more intractable. People couldn't say "houses don't have usage" instead "it's where I go to train".

And a test dummy will test nothing other than a healer or tank can press a button to deliver a taunt or heal. The idea is complement useless for the reasons I pointed out in an earlier post. Not worth the time to code if

Edit: heaven help the raid team that's uses such an overly simplistic means to test a tank or healer. Gonna be a train wreck eventually.

I don't think so, it's over simplistic for you to think so.

It would be nice to test tanks ability to sustain, or take a hit. There's also self heals and aggro control of multiple adds or bosses that could be tested. In regards to healing it would be nice to know how long you can self sustain a group say if healer dies. How well buffs and resources are given in mock combat.

The healer can practice a rotation without a specific dummy and merely use the current ones for HA to regen. Since healing in this game is much more than healing and completely situational it does little to nothing. Maybe helps prepare them for healing a 4 man dungeon. Not a trial.

As o said. Heaven help those who would use a dummy to test a healer. If basic competence is being tested nAA followed by vAA would be much better tests. AA tests situational awareness and has enough damage in vet to make sure the healer can handle healing.

Same could be said about using test dummy for dps. Doesn't test sitational awareness. My thought process is such fictional test dummy could let guage when you are over healing.

Though mind you having test for tanks would be more amazing. I know I suck at keeping arrgo on mutilple adds. Also would be nice to know effects be of how much restiances get you. You can survive the hit, but we'll die in the following.

Either way don't you think the test dummies are a bit bais in design?

Practicing dps rotation requires a target. Practicing healing rotation doesn't require targets to heal.

Put it this way, anyone who needs a healing dummy to figure out how to heal when there are plenty of dps dummies around (players just standing there) probably should consider another role.

As for tanks, gearing and CP information is out there. Outside of CP top tanks do not gear for resistance. They get what is needed with pretty standard gearing. Further, testing resistance is pointless since TTK isn't an issue on a raid since heals are present. So a tank dummy would be a complete waste for the purposes you suggest.

Can we get attacks that train the dummy? So it becomes harder to kill it.
