Assuming the player is an average ESO player and would like to complete as much as of the overland quests/solo player content at a regular pace (without any ambrosia or any xp boosting stuff) in Vvardenfell how much actual play time do you think it will take ?

Main quest, 2 hours (not kidding). Can probably do it sub 1 hour as a speed run.

A number of quests send you back and forth all over the map, so that would add to the time needed to finish them. I agree though, the main quest is quite short if you focus on it alone...

To do all quests, side quests, fishing, costume hunting and at least one of each type of BGs, casual player would take above 40h. I guess new players might take a bit more, if they want to do everything.

Compared to Orsinium, it is 5-10h more content, all quests included and at least one nMA cleared. Still, since there are a lot of areas locked, I believe Morrowind has great potential, and if Zos screws that, I will hate them forever.

DLC material: Sheogorad, Red Mountain, ton of locked buildings screaming for new quests, enough space for at least 2 group dungeons... Zos, make it awesome, make it packed with content, as Vvardenfell deserves.

I created a warden solely to undertake the Morrowind content initially, and she's covered about two-thirds of the map but hasn't completed all the quests or fully explored in those areas yet. She's done a bit of fishing but I have no interest in either trials or battlegrounds. She only very rarely uses a mount and generally runs everywhere with a lot of harvesting along the way. She has 26 hours played and is level 15. I don't imagine she'll leave Morrowind in less than 40 hours played total.

Then it will be for my other characters to go there, of course!

Well, it depends on how you play really. If you're going to explore the whole map, do everything, see everything and take your time while doing it really it's almost endless. If you're going to rush through it (like the people saying 10 hours) then yea, you're going to get a second hand experience and not your monies worth.

All depends on your play style and what you want from the game.

Using an Lv 1 Char (Magwarden), no CP, just quested/dropped gear, it took me around 30-40 hours to finish the complete Zone. I was at around Lv 35 after i was done with the it. With done i mean really everything. Every sidequest, every skyshard, book, dolmen, etc.

40,- € for 30-40 hours is ok for me.

Edith just told me, i should mention i dont PvP (so no BG) and i dont socialize with others (No Group dungeon).

It took me about 25 hours to do Orsinium because I explored everything, and I still have a few achievements to finish. There seems to be no point in rushing content.

It depends on how you play, usually for me it takes two or tree times the time... (is correct?) to do a story mode in a game because i get lost in the world and forgot to do the quests.

    Depends on your playstyle.

Vvardenfell seemed a bit more like the single player TES games compared to the other zones. If you take that kind of approach, wandering around, exploring the world etc, it takes a lot longer. I played about 30 hours during Morrowind Closed Beta with compass markers disabled, mostly first person mode and barely scratched the surface, didn't even start the main quest yet.

Otherwise, if you play similar to other MMOs, rushing to do quests in linear order, it will be much faster.

To really do all of the content, except for the RNG content, I consider this to be the upper end for Morrowind.

This presumes that no outside assistance is used, and everything is done solo. That means solo delves and dungeons (non-grouped), and no Trials or Battlegrounds. It also means no referencing the internet or add-ons that provide information on where things are and how to accomplish them. No use of player-to-player trading or guild traders.

It also presumes some exploration is done, so minimal use of flyover and high speed travel that skips over much of the overworld content.

So, this will be all achivements except for the style master ones, which require RNG unless you get help, and none of the Hall of Fabrication or Battlegrounds achievements.

Absolutely. Those who use addons to lead them by the nose to lorebooks, skyshards and other content and/or who fast travel in a straight line to complete the basics only are clearly going to finish content a lot quicker than someone who explores thoroughly and finds everything for himself/herself. As you say, it's down to your play style and what you want from the game.

The other critical factor in whether or not content offers value for money is how many times you intend to do it. Someone who only plays a single character in a MMO is going to take much less time over the content than someone who plays a lot of characters.

If you play like me and @Elloa have played , doing all the quests, sidequests, bosses, delves, public dungeons....AND importantly listening to the dialogue.
We have put over 30 hours in so far and I estimate about 10 left.

I don't have Morrowind yet, but this is how it is for me in every zone. I tend to want to see everything and learn the main city in each zone. It helps to explore to discover the crafting resources for each zone in case they are needed later.

I definitely spent at least 10 hours or a little more doing all quests (excluding dailies). Many of the quests are quite long and have you traveling all over the map. I also read at least one popup of dialog at each NPC. So if you want to 100% the zone at a leisurely pace, it takes a while.
