Next thing you know, opening crown crates will lead to gang violence, prostitution and murder!
@brandonv516 from my understanding you ONLY get crates if you pay for a sub and are an active paid ESO+ during the event. The free ESO+ won't grant you crates.
Junk you don't want, can't trade in, and can't get rid of.

Says the rude wannabe-edgelord whose forum name is a character from A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones.
(Sorry--it was just TOO easy!...says the one whose forum name is just a random mishmash of things she likes.)

I get ESO+ free for the duration of the event. Check.
So do I get to claim the crates if I don't keep ESO+ after the event ends?
You need to go read the announcement again.
ESO Plus trials do not get the bonus crates. Paying subs do.
Yes that's already been clarified but thanks for beating a dead horse.

Oh please shut up about the "addictive personality" bull. I buy crown crates and have never been addicted to anything in my life. I don't gamble. I don't do drugs, drink or smoke cigarettes. My only addiction is coffee. You're helping to spread some stupid demeaning lie that people who buy crates must have "addictive personalities" when it just isn't true. You're an evil corporation preying on people with addictive personalities, and you only care about the bottom line which is looking great due to all the sales you've made in the crown shop, by charging $40-$150 for digital items on a limited time window.
You guys are following the handbook to a T.
Can't blame you, I bet you guys are ballin!
