This is great news. These kind of events give players, especially ESO+ members a feeling that developers care about the subscribers and players and want to offer something extra to them, as it should be. I personally think that there should be more events like this in the future. And maybe at some point, eso team might consider bringing back the montly subscriber rewards, like it used to be in the past.
That crafting bag will be my hook, my point of no return. I know my fate, yet I go forward with no regret, willingly
to bad the free eso plus trail doesnt get crowncrates,
dont gonna get eso plus full for just 5 crates
And I thought I had a cynical view of the gaming industry and life.ZO$ person 1 : Crown crate sales are down, what shall we do ?
ZO$ person 2 : Everyone has cancelled their subs, what shall we do ?
ZO$ Marketing (and psychology) person : An Event! Give them free crates and slightly increase the drop rate for the free crates, to get them hooked again. Then nerf them again soon as it's over. Oh, and give them a free week of ESO plus. That lot'll get em all hyped again.
ZO$ Dev 14 : What about fixing broken BGs and the other broken stuff ?
ZO$ All : Quiet you! Get back to moving rocks around Earthtear Cavern. This event will make them forget all of the broken stuff and bad feeling since Morrowind early access launched. Free Stuff !!
I mean, this was a joke right, you don't actually believe this is how ZOS functions?
If it's part of the site code it won't be flagged as advertising as it's not add space. It's just some website code to make something pop up.I use ABP and it still popped up. Though honestly once I hit the dismiss button it has vanished so it works quite well.
That's my limited newbie understanding of how things work.

Banner was good, was a bit high if i should complain.mommadani907 wrote: »I like the banner for the most part. I think it could use a little color to draw the eye better and branding to pull it all together a little better though. Its a great idea, but I think it could visually be a little better. Its kind of generic looking. Which is going to lead to at least some people thinking that it is not legit.

Yeah yeah... this type of stuff isnt going to get me to resub. Not a chance.
I also hope when I login tonight that eso plus isnt automatically active on every account.. i just spent a few hours cleaning out my crafting bag.. if it all magically reappears in my crafting bag I wont be happy lol.

BTW this is more what I was thinking.
Also Jess I would see if the team making it can make it seem more in line with the forums theme, as others said it was quote stand out a bit and could have people question the authenticity.
