How to ding CP 160 before ESO plus promo ends ?

Guys,

I really would like to take advantage of this ESO plus promo week and would like to know what are some ways for me to ding to 160 before this event ends.

I have completed most of the quests in AD zones with my CP 136 character Mag Blade (my only 50)

I would not want to dip into other alliances (or the DLCs) as I have other (<lvl 50) toons which are currently being leveled and would like to use them during their progressionl

I have lots of Ambrosia hoarded in anticipation for this promo also.

What are some ways for me to ding my CP 136 Magblade to CP 160 before this week (if possible) by playing solo ?

Skyreach, Public Dungeons are fairly efficient ways of obtaining experience. Dolmen runs on Alik'r or Auridon can also be good.
    PC NA, PC EU

"Instead of taking the best of the dolmens (predictable rotation), the best of the geysers (scalability based on number of players), and the best of the dragons (map location and health indicators) and adding them together to make a fun and dynamic world event scenario, they gave us....... harrowstorms." https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/6850523/#Comment_6850523

Alik'r dolmen train will give XP pretty fast & also boost Fighters Guild rank ... but it really gets tedious after about 10 dolmens.

Normal Maelstrom Arena is also good for XP & Fighter's guild rank & not as boring as dolmens with a zerg. It's so easy you can smash thru it quickly & bypass most of the mechanics (such as they are in normal mode).

Imperial City is another good spot for lots of XP & Fighter's guild rank. Plus the added fun of enemy players!

Cyrodiil PVE quests at Cheydenhal... very quick quests that you can whip through in minutes.. but you can only do like 6 per day. Bonus AP & random containers for each quest nowadays!

The 10% XP boost is barely noticeable.

But if you want to grind, then just go into Skyreach. Not sure if you can solo yet at your level, but you can definitely ask someone to run you through it. Shouldn't take more than an hour to get to CP 160 considering you're almost there.

You can also find any random place with zombies and grind on your own. Don't think it would take longer than 1-2 hours either.

Don't do dolmens. It's the slowest method.

Step one: Buy the 150% xp pots for 20-30k a pop.

    Step 2: Pay some1 2-3k a skyreach loop.

You should ding 160cp within an hour.

You can of-course have a friend carry you, but you will be expected to help grind up their alts. (MORE GRINDING? gross)

    Cheers!

Go to the area north of Aldcroft wayshrine. (It is an easy/safe walk from Daggerfall if you don't have this wayshrine.) Form a pickup group of 2-3 players and work a pattern killing werewolves. If the dolmen fires, go there. If the wold boss fires, go there. When the merchant walks by, sell everything.

If you are going to grind, then consider this instead: grind all your other toons to 50. Once your toons are at 50, they are all at the same CP rank and they are all contributing to the same XP pool. This means whenever you are playing any of your toons, you are getting CP for all of them.

The game is a lot more fun once all your toons are level 50/CP. Bank management gets easier too. ;)

In addition to all the above mentioned methods to grind, make yourself a set of gear with the training trait. You will want a few sets if you are going to be leveling from 1 - 50. With your lowest level character, go to Kenarthi's Roost and look for chests along the southern coastline. You can find a lot of green/blue gear here with training at your level.

Looting chests is a low XP kind of grind, so if you can craft, make your own. You can grind most normal world PvE content from level 10 -to 50 with a single level 10 set of gear. However, if you have the resources, I would have a level 30 or even levels 10, 20, 30 and 40.

You will gain a lot of benefit from improving the set. Each improvement is going to net you 8% more. (Dual wield or sword and board while you grind for even more training/XP bonus.)

Share the set and don't worry a lot about whether it is optimal gear. If you are just going somewhere in the world with a lot of mobs, you shouldn't need to worry about being overwhelmed. You can grind magicka toons in medium gear or stamina toons in light gear.

If you are crafting your own, make a set for level 10 and 30 - you can easily survive the basic world PvE content with just these 2 sets while leveling to 50. You don't even need to care if it is light, medium or heavy. A combo of all 3 is best, but you can level a Stam toon using light gear and a Mag toon using medium gear; it is just suboptimal for combat but optimal economically and you will live to get to 50. Once all your toons are 50, maybe have another training set at 160 if you ever want to grind to 630.

    Buy potions from me ;)

Imperial City is really most interesting way. If you have time then do Dalies in dlc zones. Don't forget to queue for random normal.

    /Zone

    /LFG random normal

Do can find a group faster this way.

Go fishing! Get roe make potions

P.S killing world boss (skulls) first time gives a lot of xp for first kill. Join a group of at least find lurkers in riverspire and bankgorki.

The following is most likely not an efficient grind for max xp but some recommendation if want try and also see what the two dlc skill lines for thieves and assassins can offer.

Some additional quests you can repeat until you run away (1) the thieves tip board and (2) the assassins quest but need to have done at least the entry level quests in both lines before those become an option. They do require a bit of running around but at least help you to improve the skills lines and have a chance of giving you motifs. There are also the dailies and delves and wb in each area.

Just mix up your grinding so you don't get burn out and maybe focus on the DLC areas as you have limited time with them if you not planning on buying the DLC's in future.

Read up the guides on all the DLC areas and target what you think will give you good rewards over and above xp.

Skyreach got nerfed cause of people complaining it was an exploit when in reality, they cant afford runs or cant find a training partner.

    Zombies in coldharbour?

I've found the fastest way to level is The 3 D's: Dungeons, Dolmens, Delves. I know you said you don't want to go into the other alliances, but completing these for the first time is insane XP.

    Zombies in coldharbour?

It didn't get nerfed. They just adjusted the XP curve and made the mobs stronger. Still gives the same XP, and is by far the best grind spot in the game.

You can do 1-50 in like 3-5 hours there (depending on your potions).

Zombies anywhere are fine (as long as no more than 1-2 other people are there). You can do 1-50 in like 8-10 hours zombie farming (Skyreach is still better, but harder).

Dolmens are the worst method (around 25 hours for 1-50), but by far the easiest.
