Im actually all for other people getting stuff they missed, id love to have a pet monkey.. But i would also like people to have to pay what i did.. But TBH people looking for it will probably end up paying hundreds in crown crates before they get it, unfortunately, so i guess in the end it really doesnt matter.1 -

If they wanted to put it back on the crown store then ok, but crown crates makes it seem like cool i spent 40 bucks on it a year ago and now anyone can get it with one crate..
Im over it though, just my opinion, but i am curious to know how people would feel if they put the monkey in one of these crates.. or the ice wraith, or the jester outfit with the 3 faces.. Dont worry im sure they will eventually, and this only applies to day one players but how would you guys take it? i mean to me its more of a money thing, like i said i spent a lot on it and now its possibly worth less than 400 crowns if rng is good to someone.
Right. The pricing with it is stupid. They did make the sale appear to be 4 days and then it would be done, but if that more of a misunderstanding on the players end, oh well. It's good for the players who missed out, but what I really dislike is actually not so much their false advertising, I hate the pricing.
Take the doom wolf for example. 2,500 crowns. It was in the crates last season for 100 gems. Why is a 4,000 crown mount in the store for 100 gems too? Especially when the motifs are going for 200 gems? I don't understand at all.0 -

✭People complained about limited time offers and ZOS listened to them. Hence why you have your mount in a crown crate. The community did this to themselves. You have only your fellow players to blame.1 -

elantaura✭✭✭✭I had that senche as soon as I seen that there, I didn't buy creates, I was contemplating buying crowns but kept my money. It's had the opposite effect on me because it was in there.
I never would have cared had they put it back in store, For 4 days a year ( heck even longer make it permanent that's not the issue) but to put it in creates at the price they did is an insult to those who spent the money on it at the price that they did.
Ironically the people with $40 for a mount on a game, on a whim have the kind of disposable inocome you might want to attract, and yet they just annoyed them.
PS4 EU 1200+ cp - I enjoy RP, Housing, PVE and PVP2 -

The tiger senche still has yet to be made available on console. I just hate how they are jacking up the prices and lowering to odds of getting decent crown crate items.0 -

No it doesn't. But they did say "only available until x date." I stated in another thread almost the same thing. Usually that would mean all sales cease on that item.
The fact that they were only available for that short 4 days was why they were so compelling to purchase. Not to mention how good they looked along with the mounting animation.The limiting factor of the mount was one of the reasons why I was eager to purchase. It's great for the players who missed out, but sucks for those who had similar expectations as I did.
You lost your sense of exclusivity. It some how made you feel extra special. This is all it's really about, you're salty af because now wee Timmy and his mates have the same mount as you now. You can no longer sit in the middle of Mournhold on your 'Limited' mount thinking you're better than Wee Timmy and his mates because you have a mount that shoots blue smoke out its ass and they don't.

Well, the monkey wasn't a crown store item, ever. That dates back to the original beta, so if you missed out on it, that's gone.
Same with the Senche Tiger, the Sheogorath Jester Outfit, the Ice Wraith pet, and the Dwemer Sphere pet. The scuttler pet was a preorder bonus, so I wouldn't expect to see that come back either, though it might.0 -

It was explicitly stated as part of the crown store introduction. I don't really want to troll through posts from 2015 to find Gina's comments on the subject, but we were told items would be phased out of the store, then brought back in different formats.0 -

It makes no difference now, in the future ill know to just wait for a crown crate instead of spending 30-40 bucks on something, gamble it with 15 crates and possible get it and more.. i mean i bought 4 crates this time and got a sweet roll that was exchangeable for 400 crown gems..
Oh and for you guys who think you wont see the beta monkey or the eso + loyalty rewards on there someday, think again. Im gonna guess they'll throw that monkey up when they get desperate, maybe for a day, for the cost of one of those manors 10k + crowns.. Just to cash out real quick.. But whose to say if that 40$ was a better deal than some spending 200$ in trying to get it and can't?
Also if they're going to go back to the loyalty rewards the monkey was never apart of the loyalty reward system, it started with the Hrothgar Frost pet at 3 months, and Senche at the last of 12 months, so the monkey should not be apart of it.Edited by Cpt_Teemo on June 25, 2017 4:07AM1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Well I don't feel too bad about when they brought back the 420 Leopard Senche after it was limited. I was having money issues irl and couldn't get the Dromothra mount, and was soooo happy to see it as an option, I ended up using gems to get it. I see how happy it made me to get something I missed and was sad about missing. So there might be other people who because of payday or bills they could have been unable to drop 4k crowns on it the first go around.Grand Master Crafter, Beta baby who grew with the game. Then your argument is moot. There are people who spent more than $100 and still couldn't get the specific mount they would've gotten if it was limited edition for $40. Just saying0 -

✭✭✭✭✭A good rule of thumb is to never buy anything because you imagine that other people will one day be impressed that you have it.
Chances are it won't happen anyway, and it makes it very, very easy for someone else to ruin it (like the actual owner of the intellectual property choosing to re-release it, or someone else riding past on the exact same mount).
Buy things because you like them and then it doesn't matter what anyone else does.
