WW Needs a Taunt

WW needs a taunt, simple. I can go on and on about this or that that really lends well to tanking... blah blah blah TL;DR the bottom line is WW needs a taunt.

right. so you need taunt ability as part of your class to use this certain set?

... yeah whatever. part of your playstyle as an werewolf you require taunt ability just for you. not like the one undaunted has or the one sword+Shield has?

I agree werewolves need a taunt. It could be a howl morph.

Are you trying to be argumentative for the sake of being argumentative? He wants to use his ultimate as a tank to help him tank. At the moment, werewolf is a dps ultimate so it really doesn't blend well with tanking. If it had a taunt, it would. Enough said. Do I agree that this change needs to take place. I don't think it would hurt if it was something that could be selected. As it is, I'm happy with werewolf and use it often for bosses.

I agree. It would be nice to be able to taunt in werewolf form, since fully maxed out it's surprisingly tanky.

I never use Roar, and that would seem to be the logical skill to turn into a taunt.

werewolfs are pretty much like an berserk type. not tanks to pull stuff and hold them together. this is yet another way to make your own build based on sets OP

and yet, they are extremely tanky... - the taunt of course. as Sevalaricgirl pointed out WW are great for final bosses, i want to make the great for all dungeon.

More stam return on heavy attack, 10k resist increase, gap closer. They have a pretty tank oriented toolkit...

@OP, I'd actually settle for making tormentor work, if absolutely nothing else. That's the set from banished cells that applies taunt on a charge ability, and for whatever reason doesn't work on WW pounce.

Tremorscale shouldn't work in PvP unless you equip the vanguard's challenge set. You get that sweet taunt, but now take 100% more dmg if your opponent survives. #Counterplay

Well, taunt works and I kill stuff with it. PPl send me rage whispers now and then, and my self esteem drops even lower, forcing me to equip poisons on my viper sharpened swords.

The lack of a taunt is the reason I never use WW. Or more specifically the lack of anything but 5 skills in WW form. It makes WW absolutely worthless for everything but from line smashing in PvP. PvE WW is a joke, if you see some DPS in a dungeon use that, you know its going to be a bad run, the only time that ult is useful is when you slot it passively without ever using it....but at that point you are better off with the passives from the vamp skill line, even as a tank...sure in stages 2+ you take more fire dmg, but you have the options of either feeding before going to heavy fire dmg places or just ignoring it and rely on the undeath passive to make up the difference(as long as you have decent self heals), to be clear...the vamp ult is worthless for a tank as well, but the passsives in the vamp skill line are so much better than WW...and the self heal isnt bad either if you dont have access to green dragon blood(though the channel time makes it inferior, the magicka cost is far better)

Exactly. Were are DPS. Thus, no taunt.

Or, should Vamps get a taunt too?

And.. thus you yourself explain why no taunt.

There is a set that taunts when you use a charge ability. You could pounce to taunt.

Like a fish needs a bike. Taunt is only needed for tanks and you need to be in humanoid form to tank. If the tank from any group content decides to go WW I would initiate kick without any further explanation.

    A taunt.
Something that makes enemies attack them first and foremost.
For a wild, bestial monster that generally makes people run away in terror or being bitten and eaten.
    ...
    Yeah, sounds logical.
    NOT!
    :p;)

Game-wise they are supposed to be DPSing their way to their next meal, nomming of the ones they slay to extend their furrytime... not exactly the "tanky" playstyle, yes?

So I really see no need at all...
