Haven't done the math as not ingame at the moment, but you would need somewhere around 150-200 skillpoints to max out all the crafting on one character. Whilst you will acquire plenty of SP over time, certainly while you are still leveling you won't have the amount necessary to cover all your crafting and your abilities etc.
Back in the day it was usual to spread the crafting amongst various alts, leaving your main free to allocate SP for combat. Now the perceived wisdom is to have a Master Crafter who looks after all your crafting needs. This actually makes sense.
Recently I've dedicated one of my higher level alts to doing exactly this, and it is not taking long to get there. This alt used to be my main and had accrued enough SP to completely cover all crafting, once I had reset the SP. The thing that takes the most time is the research grind, which can't be speeded up that much, and therefore needs to be started immediately your toon begins crafting. Of the remaining 8 toons, one is my main adventurer and the others do daily writs and have hirelings to maximize the amount of resources, recipes and so on that I can get. My main adventurer doesn't craft at all.
My main crafter is fully maxed in all crafts. He's was a Nord stamplar but changed his race to Orc for the crafting passive...
I just about have enough points to have all the crafts maxed and be able to have a very very basic build. No chance of being flashy and going werewolf or vampire. Seriously, I do wonder how people can max all crafts, different armour/weapon skills and passive, racial passives, etc etc. Where do they get all these mysterious other skill points? I mean, I've got each zone skyshard, have completed the main quest, fighters/Mages guilds quests, etc and I struggle, like I said, to put together a decentish build. So I call bullsh17 on a lot of people lol

On my main, I have 350 skill points atm with 7 unused, maxed out on all 6 crafting skills and still am viable at end-game stuff.
my main is master crafter of all 6 trades and has more then enough skill points available, i have more then i need
I was just reading in zone chat and people were talking about how it's not a good idea to craft with your main because you won't have enough skills or something for all of your class/weapon/guild/combat skills.
I'm already far enough into my character that I don't want to reroll. I just want to be self-sufficient with one single character and not have to worry about alts or anything at all. I enjoy crafting but I want to do everything on one character without having to switch to a character for PvP, PvE, crafting, etc.
That is not entirely accurate. While my crafter on NA is different than my main, I've only one character on EU and she is a master crafter of all crafts, a passable dps and a passable tank - that is with about 100 skyshards missing and still about 30 more SP to get from questing and dungeons. Once she is played some more time, she'll be able to do all roles and keep her crafts.Haven't done the math as not ingame at the moment, but you would need somewhere around 150-200 skillpoints to max out all the crafting on one character. My main is a magsorc DD and has all 6 crafting maxed out (almost finished on blacksmithing research), and loads of passives in TG, DB, Ledgerdermain etc. Still have about 30 skill point unspent. Only use Destro line from the weapons tho.
Between all the quests and skyshards, enough to go around.
