What does that option even do? Can someone explain it?
It makes it so where your feet are resting on uneven terrain actually translates properly to the way your character is standing. It looks pretty good most of the time.
Bends the character's knees on an incline or decline to make the stance more realistic. Rather than the "floating" rigid stance the game had previous when standing on stairs for example.
I'm not quite sure why this is an option to toggle on or off, and not always on by default.
I think it makes everyone look like they are about to take a squat. Outdoor terrain is rarely perfectly flat and so it has to keep calculating which foot is higher at any second. Bah. Also running up and down inclines with IK on is a bit silly. I'm glad it's toggled off by default. Could be used for some cool "Captain Morgan" screenshots though.

I love the system and is it weird that I love it a little more when I see it glitch in amusing ways? I mean granted for me such glitches are rare but they do make me giggle gleefully
