You read it again. Clockwork City is in Morrowind. I love me some content cutting so they can charge me twice.

Should clear that up.
Nope, doesn't clear it up. It's still Morrowind content excluded from Morrowind "chapter". They'll add a boat or what have you to get to Clockwork City from a base game zone. Whoopdydo.

You can't just declare something "Morrowind content". We have known about Clockwork City as an upcoming DLC since the announcement of the change to B2P 2 years ago, way before we even knew Vvardenfell was considered for development.

Not sure I like those.
Then you're misunderstanding the article. Base game patches are free for everyone, you don't Morrowind and the Dungeons and Clockwork City content needs to brought Crowns.
Nope. Thats exactly the issue.
You still don't get it, bro.
Merlin13KAGL wrote: »Considering Clockwork City is basically a separate realm, how would it not make sense to be it's own DLC?
It may have ties to Morrowind, but it is most assuredly separate from it.
Complain all you like about missing access to thing within Morrowind: locked doors, quarantined areas, but even if Morrowind itself had been a free update, the domain of Sotha Sil likely never was going to be.

Better give Templars and DKs some mobility though. Huttball is dominated by Sorcerers and Operatives exactly because of mobility and the differences in SWtoR are smaller than those in ESO. Sorcs and StamNBs are already like 80% of the population in BGs and mobility is a big reason for that.

I don't freaken care if it doesn't require Morrowind. Whoopdydo they added an entrance outside of Morrowind. Probably some idiot on a boat takes you there. It's STILL Morrowind content. That was cut. To sell as DLC. It should've been there to begin with, but ok.
People will never be happy will they? Want do you want them to do? We get some quests and dungeons. There is like 345680349 other things to do besides these things. I've played for like 300 hours and I haven't came close to finishing everything on my one character. I could still make like 8 more.
Besides, play something else and take a break if you are bored. Come back when you want later and maybe it'll feel refreshed?

I'll be able to enjoy the chapter, and finish the three new DLCs easily. So that's like 26€ for ESO Plus and 40€ for Morrowind. Which is, again, very costly for a 1-to-2-month playtime. Pretty sure I'll give this game a boot if the things keep developing in this way.
That works. They already admit that there are people who do this. I call them "Vacation players" because they swing by, partake in the local attractions, then go back to whatever it was they were doing before. Now, whether people are willing to pay to do that, is the question. My guess is that a lot of them will.
On a related topic, I find this amusing from the announcement...
"When Horns of the Reach launches, the base game will also get a major (free!) update. This update will include a new Battlegrounds map (Arcane University) and a new Battlegrounds ruleset (Chaos Ball), in addition to new homes, furnishings, cosmetics, Crown Crates and holiday events. "
While talking about the "free!" update, they just happen to mention new homes, furnishings, cosmetics, Crown Crates and holiday events. Things designed to help separate you from your Crowns. Directly or indirectly.
It is also funny that the first things they mention in the major free! Update aren't actually free, unless you paid for morrowind.
