Nope, doesn't clear it up. It's still Morrowind content excluded from Morrowind "chapter". They'll add a boat or what have you to get to Clockwork City from a base game zone. Whoopdydo.

It may have ties to Morrowind, but it is most assuredly separate from it.
Complain all you like about missing access to thing within Morrowind: locked doors, quarantined areas, but even if Morrowind itself had been a free update, the domain of Sotha Sil likely never was going to be.Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

Then you're misunderstanding the article. Base game patches are free for everyone, you don't Morrowind and the Dungeons and Clockwork City content needs to brought Crowns.

And really it doesn't matter. It is sort of interesting to guess about, but one way or another no one will ever be able to prove if it was cut or not just to sell later. No ones mind will be changed. In the end it is just a question of if you want to pay for it or not.
Although I am sort of sad to see the smallest content dlc be the one after they start making chapters. Hopefully they don't keep getting smaller. Making our subs even less of a value.1 -

I've played for like 300 hours and I haven't came close to finishing everything on my one character. I could still make like 8 more.
Besides, play something else and take a break if you are bored. Come back when you want later and maybe it'll feel refreshed?2 -

I don't freaken care if it doesn't require Morrowind. Whoopdydo they added an entrance outside of Morrowind. Probably some idiot on a boat takes you there. It's STILL Morrowind content. That was cut. To sell as DLC. It should've been there to begin with, but ok.

me the same, my redguard has finished only the main quest and some part of the AD questline. my khajiit has done only some quests now, mostly dungeons now

Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.6 -

That works. They already admit that there are people who do this. I call them "Vacation players" because they swing by, partake in the local attractions, then go back to whatever it was they were doing before. On a related topic, I find this amusing from the announcement...

While talking about the "free!" update, they just happen to mention new homes, furnishings, cosmetics, Crown Crates and holiday events. Things designed to help separate you from your Crowns. Directly or indirectly.
It is also funny that the first things they mention in the major free! Update aren't actually free, unless you paid for morrowind.
Well, I considered Shadows of the Hist to be underwhelming. If all they are going to do in the Update 15 "free base game update" is add to Morrowind and put stuff in the Crown Store, Reach is going to be underwhelming for me, too.XBox EU/NA:@ElsonsoJannus

Only if you choose to buy them. The Dungeon DLC will probably be 1500 Crowns. I would be surprised if Clockwork City wasn't around 2000-2500 Crowns. Of course, ESO Plus gets both at no additional cost.XBox EU/NA:@ElsonsoJannus
