I Had a Realization About ESO

At the end of the day, the meta is going to shift and evolve whether we all want it to or not.

This is true in real life too. In our lives, the "meta," if you will, is youth, vitality, attractive and healthy bodies, successful careers. But this changes over time as we age. If we're lucky, eventually we'll come to realize that life has more to offer. Simpler things become more precious and interesting. The "meta" shifts to something deeper and more meaningful.

So always, always take any game as just that, a game. It's one small aspect of your life, but not your life.

I've definitely noticed the same thing. Balmora's questline took the best parts of the Thieve's Guild and Dark Brotherhood and was decently long, and when I walked into the southern Public Dungeon? Ohohohoho geez. That Group Boss was something else. I haven't even explored half the island yet, and ZOS deserves some MAJOR props for what they've made.

Well said. This is why I deleted my MagBlade, started up again with the class I wanted, and decided to start all over again looking for what it was that got me into this game. Exploration, questing and getting to immerse myself into the world of Tamriel (while still staying active with endgame stuffz with my friends :p )

Same thing happened to me. I do wish mobs would be more challenging though.

Awesome bruh. I don't even blame you. I just might have to do that myself with my characters.

Try to challenge urself not to craft gear not to use cp and use what ever drops. Over world is still easy but makes it a little bit more fun when just questing and doing story. Nothing is worst then coming to an end of an epic quest and fighting the final boss of the quest line and you drop it with half a rotation.

I see. You mean like the
    Molag Bal fight
    for an example? Lol.

I just wish I could enjoy questing without artificially limiting my power level. Everything in solo questing dies in one hit and it makes it so utterly boring, but also it doesn't sit right with me that I should have to remove all my CP and play with crap gear in order to make things die in two hits instead of one. I would love questing if there was an option for HARDCORE mode or something where you did get +10% xp/gold but solo PVE content was as difficult as Cadwell's Silver/Gold was when the PC game was first released.

Create an Orc Magplar and use only gear you pick up....you kill nothing with one blow....except squirrels :).

Of course, animation cancelling and rotations are totally forbidden in this build. ;)
