Can't get past log-in

My friend has been unable to play since path yesterday he's not very tech savvy or a forum user so I've been helping him.

He log-ins in and hits an infinite load screen that he even left over night and it never ended.

Program data folder was moved along with deleting shader and nothing

    We have tried running repairs lowing the graphics everything but he can't get in - he logs in and it just loads forever without even giving an error.

    Yikes.

    Infinite loading screens seem to hit random players every now and then... sorry to hear your friend got bit by the bug!

    It usually seems to be a sign of something wrong with the install. Since you've repaired, the next step would be to delete the game and try a full reinstall. It takes forever though. >_<

    Here are a couple threads on this I found by plugging "Infinite Load" into the Search bar. Give them a browse and see if anyone found another solution:

    If all else fails, have him submit a support ticket here. Note that the first response will likely be an auto-response. He'll need to read the email carefully, and if it says to respond if he's still having the issue, make sure he responds to keep his ticket open! Eventually, he'll get an actual person on the tech support team who can help him through it.
