Which faction has the most boring zones?

While this one is from AD... the sad truth is that this one has seen too many trees. Jungles are fine, Grathwood was impressive. Then it got progressively more boring for the two next zones.

AD or EP, DC has a nice variation of scenery from desert to the snow lands of Orsinium.
Decided to choose EP because I dont like the volcano stuff around there.

The alliance with the most boring areas is most likely the one you started with/have most of your characters in.

To me, a zone's "boringness" is, overall, about the stories and characters. And with a few notable exceptions (Darien, you perfect onion, you), I find Daggerfall NPCs the most dull. Everyone there is just... normal.

Also, I love the medieval European fantasy vibe... but I've read, watched, and played in that sort of setting a hundred times. At some point, a setting of castles and forests does get a little dull. What isn't dull is cities made out of trees, and ziggurats rising out of the swamp, and a fight inside a volcano, and cat and lizard people. These are what make the TES world unique, so while the Daggerfall zone is a good homage to TES' roots as a classic medieval fantasy franchise along the lines of D&D and LOTR... it's when it gets into the weird stuff that ESO, and the TES franchise as a whole, really shines.

    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

    Graphically speaking:
AD simply because there is way too much jungle like environment. Too much green everywhere.
DC maybe only because I don't like much the medieval theme from Glenumbra or Stormhaven.

as for EP in my opinion is one of the best because it share a very large palet of different environments and colours.

    Gameplay speaking:
AD because I was expecting more from all those trees.
DC because certain quests are boring me.

EP is again the best zone because all those environment feedback you can get along the way. And because you have that feeling that you are actually doing something.

Anyway I might be wrong... because a whole alliance is composed of several zones, some of them great and some... not so...

Most zones of all factions are boring but DC's are the most unexciting. Just so... bland. The Alik'r is an exception for me, which is ridiculous. You can stand in sand and see sand before you. Nothing but sand. For some reason I like that.

Oh, and Reaper's March is an abomination. It shouldn't exist.

This would require you/OP to remember that the first answer is always red, the second one - always blue, and the third one - always yellow.

Bosmers were annoying and their story got dragged a little too much but Altmers and Khajiits redeemed them for me. What was not redeemable was the Nords, sooooooooo boring...and Argonians did not help.

Plus, I'm still interested in finding out what happened to Falinesti; I would love a dlc on that subject.

Covenant was a pretty tough slog for me... The zones just weren't fun. I think maybe because so many of them were so bleak.

I -did- like that they were themed around classic movie monsters, though, that was cool; werewolves, vampires, mummies, etc.

I'm dc but i have to admit overall we have the weakest main quests since we keep getting attacking by all kind of different undead, but atleast we are important enought to be the man target of molag balls minions.

In the middle is the dominion, as others have said already, 3 zones of bosmer and also altmer racists is getting boring.

Pact..meh can't do much wrong with drunken people and lizard people.

DC is a snooze fest. They even have a whole zone dedicated to sleeping/dreaming.

I haven't played enough of EP because of the kind of people it attracted when I first started the game.

Both my mains were level simultaneously through AD and I was never bored.

Bangkorai was my most HATED zone to quest through. Back when I did the quests on my main was when Veteran ranks were still around, and it was the final zone of Caldwell's gold for me to complete. Very likely it was simply because it was the last zone I had to do, but I hated the last city in Bangkorai that one of the quest had me go back and forth across the city full of tightly packed NPC's.

Black Marsh wins my vote though but I certainly agree with the annoyance with the Bosmer in the AD regions.

Pact mostly for its bland leader which barely had character development, shadowfen, and skyrim zones that I literally just saw. But dc I hate it's generic medivil fantasy theme but I like it's quests. I can't hate ad as I like it's green and full of life

While the classic medieval vibe of Betnikh, Glenumbra, Stormhaven, and Rivenspire bore the *** out of me with Glenumbra being the worst offender of those four, Alik'r and Stros M'kai save DC for me just because I love Redguard culture so much. That leaves Aldmeri as the worst for me because it has the ugliest architecture.
