At least the devs could make a comment...
It really seems disrespectful for the EU players....

Read my comment in this thread. There has been an official statement.MasterLenman wrote: »Kai wrote on the German forums that they cannot move the maintenance, simply because morrowind is released the day after. The Monday after Pentecost is a legal holiday in many European nations.
Pentecost Monday is a public holiday in many European countries including Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Romania (since 2008), (most parts of) Switzerland, Ukraine and also in the African nations Senegal, Benin and Togo. and uk under an other name
Hi everyone.
Monday will be a public holiday for most of the EU countries. Is it possible to have no maintenance for EU servers during this day please ? It would be a great new for many EU players. Thank you

Hah.. hah.. Tuesday US is June 6th. Official rollout for Morrowind and all that. That means the patch will be Tuesday in the US. Soo.. your wish is granted?

Pentecost is no longer a holiday in the United Kingdom, they moved it to May in the 1970s.
As ZOS are an American company they observe American holidays, and having the patch delayed for us due to holiday would also delay it for the NA servers and possibly the console servers too, throwing the whole system out of whack.
They will be down for a few hours, head outside and go for a walk..

They're an American company selling to an international market. They need to start respecting that.
This company fails at even basic communication with its client base,.

"Both PC megaservers will remain available as the update was fully applied yesterday at the start of our Early Access event; PC players will be able to start their adventures in Vvardenfell at 5:00am EDT."
Not sure what that last part of the sentence really means.

I assume it means everyone on PC has already downloaded and installed Morrowind, and that it will be switched on for those not already on Early Access at 5:00am EDT on Tuesday.
They can at least try to do it during our night. Not from 10 am to 2+ pm as usual
It would show they care a bit about EU community
