How can I cut and paste a message to the chat window?

I gather that the solution to people using bots is that we can no longer cut and paste to a chat window? Is there some other way so I can compose a sane and legible message and then post it in the chat window?

The most complete copy text addon is TxtOutput and it is up to date.
