Well... for now I am just using Hircine's veneer on may argonian stamblade... But it is only an "emergency" build for now. Maybe I will find some better way not to run out of stamina... other than having 2.5K stamina recovery + occasionally light / heavy attack....

Have only played (outside of writs)my primary solo character out of my pre-morrow 12 and rsn it thru undaunted delve and solo pledge ArxCor cuz i have been starting mag-warden and stam-warden plus fiddling with add-ons.

    So testing is limited.

That the delve was no prob with sustain, no surprise.

That the solo Arx run was one of my easiest so far was surprising. Had no more sustain issues, maybe less because i was watching it more and so kept it in rotation.

The biggest diff plsy-wise was i did more light attacks, since i only did heavies to restore or exploit off-balance. That raised both dps and (it seemed) ulti recovery so fights went fine, better and more mobile.

But this is a DOT heavy build so i expect to see not as much impact on this one than on some of my more agressive builds.

No not at all, i quite like throwing in a heavy attack now and then, feels better. Also can use combos with 2h etc ^^

On my magicka sorc I didn't really have sustain issues in vMA yesterday I was mainly heavy attacks but that is gonna be a bleep if that's what they want us to do. Still had 49k MM, 1.5k MR, and 1.9k SD down fall if I pull a SD glyph and put a cost reduction glyph I'm gonna be hitting like a wet noodle with necro/MD/grothdar or Llambris.

Now I did notice it on my stam sorc even when I was light and heavy weave between skills.

Just not impressed with the need to the CP system. They could of done a way better job by having 2 separate CP systems. Instead of this now in place system. That's my PoV tho.

Not on magsorc, although I changed some morphs for resource return and so am running an ok but not great rotation. Easing into it.

A bit on magblade - not magicka, but stamina. Going to have to get some help from smarter players for that character.

Magplar sometimes no, sometimes yes. Depends on whether or not I can linger in the sun rune, which is not good. Have to figure something else out.

Cautiously optimistic. The HA resource return buff has made a big difference for me.

no problems so far..but i use food and drink buffs regularly anyways and always have.

but even without i have noticed any real issues with right management...a few times i had to melee light attacks and heavy to recover stam and ran out of magicka a few times.. but i was spamming it pretty hard to and not paying attention to what i was doing

lets be honest if there wasnt a risk of running out of a resource and it was always bottomless..it becomes a useless mechanic to even have any longer.

Not any more than before Update 14.

Trash mobs die fast, bosses take more concentration and resource management with a couple of heavy attacks now and then. I never bothered building myself toward having a bottomless resource pool, so that's how I've always fought.

After yesterday hating from me, i refreshed my mag Templar. Took Atronach for second mundus (TBS), 2/3 regen glyphs, nearly 100% Rune+Aura uptime and 2-3 heavy attacks per 2 million HP worldboss solo fight..... aaaaand it seems my magika still infinite ) I don't even use potions and that Drain Magicka Poison.

For what it's worth, from the viewpoint of a brand new character, i have no sustain issues in the early game so far. I'm trying to have some fun playing as if the character was on a brand new account, so no CP used, no support from alts (if possible), etc.

This is my response as well. I basically did what Sharee did, created a new toon, no CP, not using any support from alts except for the expanded bank slots.

Important to note, "from the viewpoint of " there are so many variables depending on how you play I would expect when this is all said and done the typical bell curve will apply.

I've tried restore poisons and heavy attacks which help a little, but are still inefficient when pugging and your group synergy is missing or people are under performing in their roles. I queued stam dps on my night blade twice last night. Vet ICP was a no go. The tank wasn't up to the task of tanking the first boss and things went down hill from there. Vet FG 1 went better only based on the merits that it's an easier dungeon and I could afford to sacrifice damage to keep people alive. Our healer was doing more jabs than healing and never threw out a shard or orb. I was heavy attacking left and right to regen stamina to help carry the group. The final boss fight ended, we got deathless, but combat metrics let me know that I'd done 50% of the group healing.

This new meta may work for organized groups, but it's absolute trash for pugging in this environment. If there is any other change I'm considering, it's never pug vet dungeons period. There are just too many players who don't know their build or roles that well and I don't have the resources to carry that baggage anymore.

Well i adjusted my CP be for MW hit i don't really run out of magic why solo only when in group things but a pot/heavy attack or 2 fixes so not to bad imo no need to put regen on armor unless you had bad regen as is and if the templar is doing there job good i don't even notice my magic - i got 1901 regen or so only lost about 90. Tho this heavy attack = faster for destro staff yea i don't notice it seems the same slow animation to me

On my stamblade I didn't notice any resource issues in overland, but didn't expect too.

Ran nHOF, and on trash pulls had very little resource issues, but couldn't spam steel tornado. On Boss fights however, lots of resource problems.

Trash Pulls and Overland are easy because of VO giving back 2k stam for each kill. I should mention that previous to this patch, my NB was the only character that had 0 resource issues (as long as I kept up siphoning attacks). Mag Sorc also had no issues if I just did heavy attack build. Mag DK and Mag Templar, I've always had a hard time with resources, and Stam Sorc I did unless I slot Dark Deal.

The irony is that no matter what little shred they give back form what they've taken they can tell you, "Look at how much we've done for you and listen to you!" even though they will still have left your tamriel in a far worse position than they founded it while expecting you to feel as if they've done you a favor.

I ran a couple of pug nHoF runs yesterday, and pretty much spent most of my time heavy attacking. I found I was out of both mag and stam ALOT. It seemed like I could do a rotation or 2, then the rest of the time it was heavy attacks trying to get my resources back up so I could at least cast harness magicka. I ran them on a mag NB, with 5x Scathing, 3x Moondancer, 2x Ilambris, 1x vMA lightning sharp staff, and one random sharp fire staff. DPS was abysmal. It felt like I could never get ahead on resources to be able to cast anything. The trial was fun, but being out of resources all the time definitely wasn't.

On PS4 I am 908 CP but have to wait till 6 junr to try morrowind!

I am on PC CP 398 (Necropotense + Juliano) and while doing VMA was running out of magicka but by using pots + frequent heavy attack it seems ok.

Putting 1 x jewlery glphy as magicka recovery and become vampire can help somehow!

Champion System Thief Constellations is pretty bad now, I am not sure where to put points as Magicka DPS PVE

Changes done to it are good for PVP but PVE is suffering!

Yes I'm a tank and had a bow to solo stuff could pull packs in Craglorn group area's and kill them with arrow spray, cant now after Morrowind release. And yes i know bow sucks but wacking mobs with sword and shield is zzzzzz, I wont die but its damn slow.

But I changed my stuff around a bit and now use a 2H with some AOE DK spells sofar its a good replacement.

This is the post I was looking for. I played a similar way with the bow, and it seems I won't enjoy myself any more. Thanks for saving me money on morrowind. the first morrowind taught me that combat in vardenwhatever is not fun, so at least zyngamax gets that right by making it unfun to fight the day of release of new dlc.

In actuality, making you have to waste time rebuilding and farming gear, and then taking far longer to kill things especially small groups of mobs artifically inflates the size of the content. It makes it take longer for you to go through it, so it Seems it was a bigger dlc than it actually is. That saves them from having to make an actual larger amount of story and quest content, mind you.

I point this out for the people who do not think this way about things. But you guys have been bamboozled with morrowind, namely with the content changes included with it and it being overpriced by about 10 dollars. Including just the upgrade versions. They also get out of allowing you to use crowns from the sale or your subs by creating the "chapters subsection of content additions". This is a bad sign for the future of the game and behavior from this company, and I'm done with it I reckon. I will see just how badly they butcherd my main fighter , though. For schtakos and giggles. Then I'll hit up PA so I can get whatever information I need before deleting it for great justice.

Honestly, so far I'm liking the changes. I haven't noticed any major difference in resources, but I have noticed that I'm doing more damage (as a tank). Not a lot more, but enough to be noticed.

I noticed the same thing on my tank.

When I first logged in yesterday the first thing I did (after spending my cp) was to test my dps against a dummy. Using my same rotation would bring me to resources issues.

I spent around 2 hours trying to figure out how to improve this. I ended up using reduction cost enchantments and changind a bit my sets and abilities. I have to use some more heavy attacks now but overall I'm fine both in PVP and PVE.

    I main a stamina NB btw -.-

I can't really play my pet sorc as is anymore. It's completely unsustainable. 1 rotation burns half my magicka regardless of me walking around with 51k magicka. I don't understand what's going on, but it's not fun. I already do a lot of heavy attacks and now find I have to do even more.

I've already come to the conclusion I suck at this game, but now I suck at this game and am no longer having fun. I'll have to change out glyphs or something to get recovery.

My pet no longer heals outside of combat either so that sucks too. The damage on my pets AOE pulse was over 7k and now is barely over 4k. So that also sucks.

Can we please stop nerfing fun? Sigh.. well my stamina warden is great so that's nice I guess.

From a new player perspective in purely solo questing play yes, I am having issues. Leveling a magicka Warden, and just dropping Wall of Elements, queuing up my Shalks, light attacking, throw one Cliff Racer, maybe the ice AOE, and I am already at 1/3 magicka, and that is just vs. 2 or 3 mobs.

Pretty much forced to heavy attack not because it feels right or because there is a smart opportunity for some extra damage but because I HAVE to, which generally feels bad.

I'm sure I could "just get used to it" but then I could probably get used to someone repeatedly kicking me in the shins too. The question is, who would WANT to get used to such a thing?

I thought the point was to HAVE FUN.
