    It's ok so far, the BG queue needs some work. Can't queue a pre made yet and sometimes the queue pops, everyone hits the ready check, and then it just drops the queue. Its also not filling the teams, I only had 3 out of 10 BG's last night where I was in a full group of 4.
    The quest stuff is pretty cool.
    Haven't made a warden yet but my guildies are loving theirs.

    RIP Repentance. Otherwise... Idk. Still haven't quite figured out if those Shard changes are about the resource pools of the caster or the one activating the synergy but I'll guess I'll find out once I get home/playing.

    Some stuff is good, I think. For example more XP from quests. Though I don't want to praise them for it, because I remember writing feedback on this very topic, in beta, 3 years ago.

    Quest experience... Ok so I've tried questing and
    feels exactly the same. It's probably a stupid 1% increase in experience...
    Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

    The other system can only log in on the EU server. That one doesn't even get announcements on the NA server, and that's the system with access to Morrowind. Either there's a DDoS going on, or (lots of) other problems.

    Absolute garbage.

    Tested it the entire month on the PTS.

    Numerous posts from myself and other testers about how detrimental these changes are going to be.
    Everyone was summarily ignored by ZOS unless they gave the changes glowing, God-like praise.

    Just the complete dismissal by the developers when they asked us to come test the Update and "expansion", and close to 95% of the people testing it told them that the changes are absolute garbage; just killed my desire to play. I've gone from 14-28 hours of game time per week, to 14-28 minutes of play time per week. Just enough time to handle Guild responsibilities and empty my mail.

    And now that the "shine of a new DLC" is starting to calm down; the resource management issues, cost of abilities, and nerf to three whole Classes is starting to show through to the general population who didn't get to preview it like we did when testing it.

    And the disappointment/anger/incredulous-at-the-stupidity posts are now starting to show up, now that the sheer magnitude of the Player-weakening changes are starting to show through.

    I hang around because I love MMORPG's, and I love The Elder Scrolls. But make no mistake. I went from having eight (8) characters, all the way down to just one (1) character due to these changes. My play time has taken a nose-dive, and I don't see a point to logging in more than I do now.

    But I keep that one character in the hope that ZOS will get their heads out of their collective asses, and fix/revert the changes to DK/Templar/NB, Sustain, and Cost Reduction.

    But until they revert those changes, there's zero reason to log in and play under the tyranny of this abhorrent Morrowind Update. Not even to explore Vvardenfell.

    This Update is GARBAGE, and the fact that ZOS is summarily ignoring all feedback and warnings from their invited testers telling them as much is just a brutal kick-in-the-teeth.

    Every major update in practically every MMO drastically changes the current meta as people adjust to the changes.

    And with every major update from every MMO, the response from the community is one of dismay and anger as the classes they spent months researching and perfecting for that current meta have changed.

    And you know what usually happens a few weeks after the update? The theorycrafters who design the builds that a vast majority of players use (not everyone enjoys changing builds and running a statistical analysis on dps number...imagine that) come out with a new meta and everyone adjusts. And in a month's time, people are complaining about the game in the same way they were before the update.

    Long story short: changes happen with every major mmo update, the community flips out and starts burning their furniture outside ZOS, and then the community adjusts and learns to play the new meta.

    For most people, this will be a bump in the road, and for some this is a new opportunity for them to crunch the numbers and find new and innovative ways to be effective. It just depends on the person.

    This isn't about a "Meta" though.

    They nerfed three whole Classes into the ground, and all-but removed Sustain and Cost reduction from the game.

    This is going to affect every player of all stripes, and more harshly affect new/Casual players in far greater magnitude than the Hardcore/Veteran players.

    This isn't just to correct one or two OP MEta character builds, this is making everyone in the game vastly weaker and making it harder for people to do... anything in the game simply by revoking their ability to regen resources in a timely fashion.

    Like:
    * Floating combat numbers
    * Buff Bars
    * Regen passives scaling off level
    * Heavy attacks restoring more reaources
    * Redding the sacrificed to Molag Bal cinematic
    * more XP from quests

    Neither like nor dislike:
    * Giving people a free campain swap (I kinda dislike the new dunmer themed campain names, but it doesn't matter that much) , I think it is nice that people have a chance to swap, but I will most likley stick with the same campains I had before (Trueflame/Vivec main and a low pop one for guest to use for tel'var farming).

    Don't like:
    * CP changes
    * No option to start in Wailing Prison and do the new tutorial after (I like the new one as an introduction quest for Morrowind, but I prefer the old one as the starting one)
    * change to warden passive from increasing "physical and ice" dgm to "magic ans ice"
    * Heavy Bow atrack auto shooting
    * New Skill line unlocking system (I really hate this new way of unlocking them. The notification for learning a new skill line is good, but hiding all skill lines except class ones is just stupid)
    * Crown store research scrolls.

    It's certainly changing the game. I have just been a part of one too many of the meltdowns post updates for MMOs to get too concerned.

    I agree to an extent.

    I've been playing MMO's for 20+ years. I've seen Updates that have done nothing more than upset a few people by fixing OP Meta's/Character Builds/Crafted Sets to bring them back into the realm of mortals. With these Updates, people *** for a minute, then they adapt to whatever new Meta is the FotM.

    And then I've seen truly toxic Updates that have lasting, negative impacts on the games they're introduced into. Kind of like this Update, and the Update that helped finish off Star Wars Galaxies. This Update may/may not do the same to ESO that the last few updates did to SWG, but the similarities between the two Updates are striking. With these Updates, people (i.e. New/Casual Players) typically don't "adapt". They just leave the game.

    I like ESO. I don't want to see it run the same course that SWG did, though Wrobel seems bound and determined to take it down this same path.

    *sigh* My poor bowplar... she had a hard enough time with the last balance update. Now, she's had both her primary weapon and her class nuked in one fell swoop.

    Guess I'll be back-burnering her until the next couple "balance patches" nerf everyone else down to her level. :/

    Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
    Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
    Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
    Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
    Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
    Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
    Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
    Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
    Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
    Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
    Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
    Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
    Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
    Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
    Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
    Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

    Some stuff I'm largely ambivalent about. Such as them moving away from CP. Either grow some cojones and axe the whole thing and stop pu**yfooting about, or enable it game-wide and balance it properly. The whole CP/non-CP thing should NOT be happening. Especially when they are saying they don't want to balance PvE and PvP separately. And yet immediately, in the same breath, announce no-CP PvP for majority of content, and CP PvE for majority of content. Is that not separate balancing?

    And some stuff I frankly loathe. Such as most of the balancing changes, but not even related to sustain. Like Grim Focus. Somehow they took an already obtuse ability, and in the process of buffing it made it even more obtuse. Same with Siphoning Strikes, they took something unique and beautiful and turned it into Rally For Stamina. Still better than previous iteration though.

    @Sabbathius

    Because they essentially didn't remove the Old Veteran System and identified VR as a problem but merged it into CP which was supposed to be a completely separate system to resolve the first system......Do you think their decisions previously continue to impact their direction going forward.

    Maybe just remove both systems entirely without replacing it, initially?
    Maybe that could've been Morrowind....
    Not many people realize what ypu just stated. The cp system is just the vr system with constellations .instead giving you a rank they gave you points to spend in the passives which were hard coded to Vr passive increases to your chr. The problem is the soft cap removal was a bandaid to fix the magica stamina health scaling problem. In short the game was poorly designed at end game. Now we are 3 devs past what the original vision was and none of them can make sense of what to do to correct the broken alternate advancement system. To make it worse its far easier / cheaper in dev dollars to just patch the shallow broken system then take it out and fix it right

    I really dislike the resource micro management meta. To me it undermines the spirit of the game.

    ESO was always a gem for it's fast and dynamic combat. Having to constantly worry about holding down the attack button just to regen resources every other kill is clunky and annoying. Adding artificial tedium doesn't make combat more interesting, it just makes it more tedious. Like duh.

    Other than that, I haven't really played Morrowind much. I will probably wait until official release. Leveling up a Warden but honestly the resource minigame is really a turnoff.

    I like the music and scenery of Vvardenfel. :)

    If so many people complain about losing one specific setup then clearly it was a pigeonhole

    The only thing I really dont like about it its the jump point CP method.
    The tooltip says one thing but the stats say something else.
    I know they say ignorance is bliss but thats just a dumb move and most people will be wasting a lot of cp without even knowing it.

    i thought zenimax will fix those clunky animations but not, changes are mostly dissapointing but as even beta class (like for mmo in beta not 2nd to the top) update i found few funny things :D

    1 dungeon with warden tank - it was fun to see how this so called OP class is dead by 1 boss hit :)
    2nd warden healer wiped us with those awesome looking mushrooms and trees , theyr grew on our bodies :D
    3rd dungeon with warden dps all trashed died before his skill even reach them
    4th me and group of wardens i just left in the middle of simple normal run when they died on group of trash

    everything was nerfed to OP wardens and they still suck making whole group weak , even if only 1 warden in the group its 1 wasted slot or for good tank or for healer or dps
