Pre-purchased Morrowind. No Morrowind showing in game account. No access.

I purchased Morrowind Digital Collectors Edition when it first came available on Steam. My base game is also from Steam. My Steam account is linked to my TESO/Zenimax account on the Zenimax account page.

There is no Morrowind showing on my Zenimax/TESO account page. When I log in, I am given 2 options only. Give access code for Morrowind or purchase Morrowind.
I have already purchased Morrowind. Your account system refuses to recognize my steam account info and update itself.

This same thing happened with my forum invite when I first got the game. I did not receive the invite as was supposed to happen. I had to come here and beg for it.

If at first you don't succeed, LFG.

You should be able to access morrowind automatically if you purchased your copy on steam. If you are having issues I would recommend submitting a ticket to our support team so that they can assist you with this issue. https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/38739

    Sorry to hear this Fikkan.
I myself have had problems with going thru Steam on this game.
I hope it works out for you. Hang in there, ESO went above and beyond to remedy my problems.

I actually did not purchase Morrowind yet just because of the
problems I had in the past.
I was going to give it a try in a few days but I will definitely hold off until
I find out what happens with you (if you choose to post about it that is).

    Take care

    I have two accounts.

I pre-ordered Morrowind (so I could get the goodies) as a physical copy, but haven't gotten it yet. I don't have a code yet, so I can't show a screenshot of the code. And my husband ordered two copies for both of us, so we will both be uploading the same screenshot (shows two purchases).

I pre-ordered Morrowind on steam for the other account. It reads as "installed" when viewed from the steam site, but I still have no access when I go into game.

Now what can I do to make this work?

Edit: just went in again, launched ESO from inside of steam....still no access.

Submitted a ticket with all the account info on it

If you purchased the ESO: Morrowind Digital Upgrade or Digital Collector's Upgrade from Steam, you should have automatically received access to ESO: Morrowind starting today, May 22nd.

You may want to contact Steam and make sure there were no issues with your purchase and that Morrowind has been added to your Steam account. To contact Steam, click Help from the Steam Launcher and then select Steam Support, or navigate to http://store.steampowered.com/ and click Support.

If there are no issues from Steam, you can submit a support ticket through our help portal.

    I just thought of something.
You said on your ZOS account page.
What is showing on your Steam page when you launch the game?
That is where all your information you need is.
I use to go to ZOS account page but that is why I had so many problems.
Everything is done thru the Steam ESO game page.

There is no way to get thru to Steam
They have set up their support menu system in a way that ends up having you do 1 of 2 things:

    1. They tell you they cannot help you as it is ZOS game and you need to contact them. End
    2. Refund the purchase (this is a limited time thing so choose wisely)

I don't know how to do that fancypants screencapture and picture post, but my steam TESO page lists:
The Elder Scrolls Online - Morrowind installed 2/1/2017
The Elder Scrolls Online - Morrowind Digital Collectors Items installed 2/1/2017
The Elder Scrolls Online - Morrowind Discovery Pack installed 2/1/2017
The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited Imperial Edition installed 5/8/2016.

I bought Morrowind Collectors Edition when it first went up for sale. The date is the date purchased.

    Trying something that might fix.

When I patched, the patcher kept running into a problem accessing the patch and dropping connect. So I'd refresh by hitting pause then proceed to refresh the connect. Had to do that several times.

So, I went to my steam page for TESO and unchecked all the DLC and then relaunched steam and checked marked the DLC again. Then hit the verify data option.

400 and some odd files failed muster. So, redownloading 59 gigs of stuff I already downloaded to see if that fixes the issues.

I'm trying to remember how I found the Morrowind support on Steam. I recall a clicky titled "do you have questions about this product?" but not sure if that was on steam or this site here.

Well, for some weird reason my steam account is working; linked to the right in-game account and all that. (my husband and I both have... and sub two accounts).

My other (main) account where I bought the physical copy is not yet working, but I did do a screenshot and filled out the "support ticket".

The potential problem that I see is that my husband ordered both our copies as one order, so both requests will show the same order number.

Also, his steam account screwed up and attached the WRONG account to the digital upgrade. Sigh.

Could things be any more weird?

My support ticket for "fill out the boxes and we will fix it" is: #170522-003850.

I think I know the problem. Are you using the steam client? If not, then that's where you can play morrowind. If you're playing on the normal Client? It'll act like You don't own morrowind. @ZOS_BillE @ZOS_RyanM

    I appreciate the effort, but...

If I try to run it off the steam client then the program flashes on screen for a micro second then nothing. I check in Task Manager and... nothing.

Got the 59 gigs of download and install done. Tried to launch it from the steam "Play" clicky. It installed TESO again then... nothing.

Went into the steamapps common zenimax for the launcher so it could patch itself again (previous try of the desktop icon gave a "unsupported version" response). Now I'm re-downloading the 7gig patch again. and it, of course, keeps failing webget, again. and again. and again.

Some progress but still no joy.

Game is patched. both launching from steam itself and the desktop shortcut zosSteamStart go to same dead end.

I get through the usual Elder Scrolls launch page where it checks for updates, then it goes to the Morrowind page and starts auto sign in.

The sign in fails with a "can not establish connection to steam"... even if launching from Steam.
