I know I shouldn't be surprised at this point, but they actually managed to slip in another nerf to Templars for the last patch, to a skill that was already only ever used by high health one-trick pony healthplar builds (that were not "extremely effective" despite ZoS comment) meanwhile still no response on the Puncturing Sweep bug (25% less healing).
So now all those Blazeplars that were dominating all game modes finally are brought in line with the rest of us.

I had a full Blazeplar build and guess what... I never used it because it sucked. I wish they would make the skill worth taking for 25hp characters.

I'd rather them just set a soft cap of like 35k-40k max hp in pvp instead but oh well.

Any tank build is a troll build in pvp though. What makes blazeplar so special?
Morphs splitted functionality. Practiced for group support while Remembrance for more solo-oriented:Yet another nerf for templars. Also, Rite of Passage doesn't give to the allies damage protection anymore and there isn't a developer comment about that.
How is a 30% increase in damage over time a nerf?
They've gotten rid of a minor cc that has always been broken and replaced it with an increase its DoT, that sounds like a buff to me.
Or am i missing something?
In better shield news though, at least there's this:
Igneous Shield (Obsidian Shield morph): Decreased the duration of the Major Mending buff granted by this morph to 2.5 seconds from 6 seconds.
No longer dependent on the shield staying up, no longer stripped if another DK casts igneous.

We're talking about Blazing Shield, not Blazing Spear (Blazing Spear, or more exactly Luminous Shard, which you're talking about, share now a cooldown with orbs and return less ressources)
