Sure it is. You don't play a stamina DK like you do a magicka templar. Leveling up the traditional way gives you a chance to learn the nuances of the character and get a proper rotation down.
Skyreach is a way for lazy people to quickly level a character so they can then a week later say they are bored with the game because there is nothing for their fully leveled character to do.

I come to Craglorn for crafting and would love to try Skyreach for the very first time.
Hello?
Not, "Cry me a river, maybe you can float your way out of Craglorn?"
Nah... It doesn't bother me to be asked or to see the begging in chat. I just thought I was missing out on something and wanted to know what all the fuss was about.
Yeah, but at the same time, how could I not reference that dialog I hear, at least, 12 times a day.
I'm still waiting for the woman next to the wayshrine to get her goods delivered or lose her shirt. One or the other.

Hello?
Skyreach grind USED to be somewhat secret months ago and one of my friends was one of the rare people who knew about the grind. Someone spilled the beans. Now everyone and their mother goes in there.

I'm reasonably sure that catacombs is the one we tried. the one with all the ghosts spawning at the firepits and chest event in a back middle that if you die on
@Linaleah
I don't think there are any ghosts, just lots of Zombies.

we have different views than, the people ive carried at least try and earn it. they use the word carry because they cant solo it by themselves.

Probably ones that were carried through Skyreach. I really don't care if people grind there if they at least try to participate in the fights. There was a guy a while back though that for a certain amount of gold would carry people through and was very clear that you could just lay there dead if you wanted and get the XP. Those people do bother me because one of them is going to end up in a random vet dungeon with me wondering what that red circle means.

That its instances is that makes it good, public dungeons give decent xp then optimal however during prime time its lots of other players. Skyreach give even more xp and is instanced like group dungeons so you don't have to compete with others.Saucy_Jack wrote: »Skyreach grind USED to be somewhat secret months ago and one of my friends was one of the rare people who knew about the grind. Out of curiosity, if it's an instanced zone, what was the point of keeping it secret? It's not like people can "steal other people's xp" (not that I think anyone "owns" any given amount of xp) in an instanced zone.

I can level at that speed or faster if i just quest, and its certainly more fun that way.
It should take about 5 minutes to clear it. Go in with 2 people, one person goes left, the other right, aggro everything and pull it all to the back where the chest is. Burn everything down with AoE. Open the chest, burn everything down. Split up again, and meet back at the entrance. Burn everything down again.
I created a magsorc and leveled it to 50 in one day in Skyreach, during one of the double XP events.
how do you survive that? we reduced our pull sizes because even 2 gave us trouble with more then one close call.
