Why are so many players begging to be carried through Skyreach?

So much begging for this in Craglorn and I have no idea why. What's so special about Skyreach?

Why are players expecting to be carried?

Please enlighten me.

Every time I see people asking on the forums about what the fastest way to level a character is, people always say "Go to Skyreach!"

I wish Craglorn stayed a 50 and over zone after One Tamriel dropped, the beggars being the major reason. Players not having basic game knowledge when entering the zone is the other.

Because they see other people do it and what this game needs is more people in vet content who have to idea how to play at CP 600.

Remember the level restriction on Craglorn? That was glorious. If they'd restrict Eyevea to CP 700 you'd never get me to leave. I spend much of my time playing with new players but there's no arguing that FTP and grinding allows scum to make zone chat a hellish nightmare.

I received no responses the other day when I asked for Skyreach assistance in helping me earn a single CP. I was paying well, too!

I think by "carry" people are simply saying "get me the entire dungeons XP in ~5mins and lets reset" instead of spending 30mins in there killing everything themself and repeating..

Both are fine, but I don't think which character # youre on makes a difference in whether or not you need to be carried lol.

I feel like I'm doing something wrong, or missing something, because hearing all the "Skyreach is fastest to level" i grabbed my friend and we tried it. clearing the upper part gave use just under a level. it took about half an hour.. ish. granted, neither of us were lvl 50 yet, or anywhere near 600 cp, but... I can level at that speed or faster if i just quest, and its certainly more fun that way.

If you're doing it alone in 30 mins and with someone else in 5 min then you are carried.

I'm at cp cap and the gains aren't all that,maybe use ambrosia?

even with ambrosia, the point still stands. I mean maybe its because i'm not that elite player that can clear the entire floor in 5 minutes on their own, but...

That's because the game is designed this way!

It is not rewarding to do a single quest unless you reach CP160 level.

All gear you get prior CP160 becomes garbage once you reach CP160!

I encourage all players to spend few hours grinding their CP160 level and then start your questing and exploration experience.

It is so much more rewarding knowing that you get the gear that you can keep forever.

Wow! That's some fast leveling and explains why it is so popular. I honestly had no idea why. Can"t blame experienced players for wanting to quick level a new character if they have already leveled up others the traditional way.

I'm not sure either,I find I get better xp elsewhere.the big advantage with skyreach is that it's an instance,so you don't have any other players around.

As I observed, most of them are low level, low skills, no self healing, crying for high CP partner to pull them and do all the dirty work (i.e. doing damage and healing while low level steals resources & chests)...
Skyreach delves are best places to practice solo builds. I'd be bored there with some low skills beggar, dying from one shot each few seconds and stealing every chest with no remorse.

u know u can ignore the low lvls trying to get to 50. Once morrowind comes wait to how many people are asking then. Don't goto craglorn if it bothers u. There's bigger issues in this game than people trying to lvl or grind cp easy.

Why do you care? Let ppl power lvl their toons. After you lvl 4 toons questing becomes quite boring and no one got time for it. Even though, you stll have to run main quest for soul magic skill line.

I have 8 toons and still don't feel the questing is boring, maybe just not focus on it so hard as before, but use for levelling skils and getting skill points and lore. It's rather the people are living fast today and don't want to immerse much into the game, they do the content quickly and leave game for other pleasures.
But the soul magic skill line - why do you care so much about it? It's a waste of skill points imo.

What do you mean? A 10th character will still be low level at first, with not all skills and passives unlocked, probably no shields nor self-healing yet, etc., and so can't handle the groups of mobs inside Skyreach.
