Everything is going lowercase when loot and pick up new items.

    Nothing? Even armor pieces not part of sets is coming up lower case, all addon's disabled too.

    My guess is you stole all the upper case letters for your thread title.

    Also Gina posted and acknowledged it, will be fixed when they figure it out.

    Oddly enough, after restarting my game, I stopped getting this bug.

    Did it get shadow-patched?

    I saw a thread where someone posted about this in the bug report forum, and someone replied and referred them to the thread in general discussion and closed their bug report thread. I felt bad for that person. They posted in the correct forum and I felt like they got scolded for it.

    IMO not pointless - this error breaks the Potion Maker addon when doing daily writs, something I and many others happen to use every day.

    I should note the workaround posted in the other thread does seem to fix this issue for Potion Maker.

    Also just shows basic sloppiness on ZOS' part. Not a good look to let something like this slip through on a late-cycle trash patch.

    For me, this is the least annoying bug in the history of ESO, excepting only ones:
    • That were actually beneficial.
    • That I never noticed at all.

    Thats the basic problem those of us who are worried about this problem. It could just as easily have been the item stats from the PTS that got dumped on us, like we had in EQ back in the day. They rolled back the servers a week after the flaw was discovered.. "Oh.. sorry.. we made a mistake. We have to roll everyone back, because we accidentally gave everyone a million gold and we cant track where it went." Actually, I am still waiting for someone to find something like that.

    Not only do I have this issue but all my video settings now have warning symbols next to them that says "this setting must be applied and may result in a load screen." Anyone else having this?

    That, my good man, sounds like your video card company updated its drivers, then tried to optimize the game, WHILE you were playing.

    Thanks, I'll look into this. I'll turn off GeForce Optimization and see if that works.
