Both version on NB need help. Magnb needs more help in my opinion than stamnb. For example for PVE and PVP stamnb biggest issue is survivability that can be solved in a few ways for example giving them access to minor mending or a stam shield. Magnb just deal less damage than other classes This can be solved in several ways for example increasing the damage of the Ground based AOE twisting path and class dot in agony. Also change a passive to give them bonus damage to heavy attacks will push them closer to Magsorc damage hopefully. Right now Mag blades are just weaker sorc.

Even with that buff Sorc pull higher numbers than magblade by a lot and next patch lets just say it's a lot worst.Only reason to bring a Nb into a trial is to be your group buff itch with the new set that gives major slayer.Personally I'm not sure if it's a big enough reason to use a nb over a sorc.I like both mainly play my Nb especially in PvP.Bladerunner1 wrote: »Both version on NB need help. I thought I read on the patch notes one or two patches ago where twisting/refreshing path got a damage buff, but yeah I actually still don't like my magblade compared to stamblade, it's just a playstyle preference. Stam feels more hard-hitting to me, even though I really only slot a couple of NB skills.

Things with stamblades in PvP, in the hands of a good player, they are VERY good. It's a class that requires a lot of practice, but it has such great potential.
I always find it funny when people say they are squishy. The spammable gives resistances and you have tool such as cloak and shade. Granted, cloak still fails occasionally, that really needs to be properly fixed.

Granted, the Templar and sorcerer do better way batter aoe but against single target it's still a beast in pve, I find that I just need to treat it as an assassin not a big blunt instrument, the aoe execute on the two handed also help a lot in this regard but it takes a lot more practice and judgement than some other classes

Stamnb is not fine in pvp. It works, yes, but everything you do is much more challenging then on other classes unless you look at escaping, you cant kill anything using cloak and shadow image tho.
Stamnb need better heals, better defence and more ways to help their group with buffs etc.
Now soloing on a stamnb is fun, mostly because you have the ability to vanish and kite ppl with shadow(when that actually works). But in a straight up fight vs other classes you will have a much bigger challenge then your oponent due to your bad defence and bad healing.
@Vaoh you know Ironclad pretty much negates Master at arms right?53 or 56 points can't remember will give you a 20% reduction in damage.A Nb will be wasting CP putting 100 points into master at arms next patch he better off spreading it out.56 points in master at arms 43 points into mighty and the rest split between other cp perks like bless and precise. In endgame PvE, Nightblades offer the least of any class. They are strong in vMA, but suck everywhere else.
In PvP, Stamblade will never be dead. Not even close. PvP is founded on burst damage, and Stamblade has plenty of it. The CP System changes will boost Stamblade burst damage by a lot as well (direct damage passive) even with the removal of extra damage from stealth. The very nature and ease of killing has permanently given Stamblade a seat on the top of the Cyrodiil populationm bard
