I have two other characters at 50, one is crafting alt who's not finished Deshaan, the other is a Sorc I rolled this year and got through EP Zones and main story before putting down.
My point was more that the OP is so blinded by his balance rage they're posting that everyone who disagrees is a sorc.
Everyone will be a Sorc is what I'm saying.

I'd love to compile footage of all the hopeless mDK builds being obliterated by me. And yes ill use my mDK.
You guys are all complaining about stuff like battle roar when are our damage mitigation (blocking) is now gone for anyone trying to kill anything. Were going back to tanking again because that will be the only thing we can do.

Good thing I changed mains from a Nord StamDK to a Redguard StamSorc.
Redguard was nerfed too...Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

Well thats what I messed around with on live in 1T when dueling was very active, but with sword and board instead of dual wield. It massacres the majority of sorcs. The beautiful thing about magicka DK is how versatile it is. Ya tank specs are predominant in the current meta, but the magicka DK has the tools to be effective with a wide variety of builds.
What I liked most about that spec is that it utilizes blocking, healing, and shielding so it makes for a very engaging play style. You can shield stack as well, but also get big heals inside the shields.Edited by CyrusArya on May 2, 2017 5:37PM0 -

1T mDK was quite different from Morrowind mDK. Sustain was definitely manageable. Right now on PTS, with 5 LA and Seducers, simply keeping my buffs up depletes nearly 50% of my magicka.Invictus

I don't think you have a good grasp of strategy here: the Devs already have a ton of BS threads to look at before they find 1 actual useful discussion. You adding more makes it harder, not easier, to enact the changes you seek. If you instead created a thread that started with actual discussion and examples of findings, maybe this would help out development and balancing for DKs.
But no, go on creating more pointless threads and filling them with sarcastic comments and reaponses. I am sure that ZOS finds that incredibly helpful.3 -

Now....are DKs maybe lower on the ranking than sorcs this patch? Yes probably. Does this means they'll always be remain there? Hell no. Thinking that your (favorite) class should be on top is one thing but pretending it never was is just nonesense

This patch has done more to bring every class into running for each role. The changes to Templars removed their monopoly on the healing role, as a DK healer you actually have a chance to be competitive in healing regards. As a mDPS, DKs main holdback was substain. DK class will actually adjust better to the changes than every class due to their history.
DK class will be fine and can do every role in the game, competitively. Tanking is their strong suit but that is the way the class is set up.1 -
