Faerie or Fay look it up. Wardens have a skill line right out of a childrens book.

Where in any Skyrim Lore or ESO does this Fay lore exist. No they are not spinners. They are Fay.

Can we have a dark class, someday? Enough Jesters and Fay.

Thank you,

Floki

Why make 2 threads for the same thing? Also according to the devs we have a dark class, the sorcs  but it seems like you are grasping at straws calling the wardens faeries or whatever. Having a man eating bear and cliffracer that wants nothing more than to tear someones head off in addition to controlling the Element of cold doesn't seem very fairy like to me. What I am guessing is that you don't like the Green balance skill line, buts not that bad.

Googling that word give a redirect to Fairy cause Faerie is basically just an old form of that word and wiki says this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairy

"Fairies are generally described as human in appearance and having magical powers. Diminutive fairies of one kind or another have been recorded for centuries, but occur alongside the human-sized beings; these have been depicted as ranging in size from very tiny up to the size of a human child.[6] Even with these small fairies, however, their small size may be magically assumed rather than constant.[7] Some fairies though normally quite small were able to dilate their figures to imitate humans.[8] On Orkney they were described as short in stature, dressed in dark grey, and sometimes seen in armour.[9]

Wings, while common in Victorian and later artwork of fairies, are very rare in the folklore; even very small fairies flew with magic, sometimes flying on ragwort stems or the backs of birds.[10] Nowadays, fairies are often depicted with ordinary insect wings or butterfly wings. In some folklore, fairies have green eyes. Some depictions of fairies either have them wearing some sort of footwear and other depictions of fairies are always barefoot."

So again not sure what you are referring too when calling the Warden that, cause it doesn't seem to fit at all.

oh yeah, the guy with the little girl's bike...not that there is anything wrong with having a little girl's bike, i just so happen to have one in my garage - think what you may :p

you know @Floki_Vilgerdarson ...i'm starting to suspect that you just might enjoy some of this crazy banter - you're very good at getting stuff started...

I for one am a very big fan of folks speaking their mind...we're all a little crazy and odd - no doubt some folks read my posts and probably wonder a little what kind of drugs I must have in my medicine cabinet...

but, i always prefer the crazy you know to the folks whom hide it all too well...

personally - I'm hoping and dreaming we have a chance to raise the dead soon here in tamriel...how weird sounding is that...

The relevant part of that article is this:

"Much of the folklore about fairies revolves around protection from their malice"

In pre-Victorian times faeries were feared. The etymology of fey reveals its historical connection with death:

"Fey is a word that defies its own meaning, since it has yet to even come close to the brink of death after being in our language for well over 800 years. In Old and Middle English it meant "feeble" or "sickly." Those meanings turned out to be fey themselves, but the word lived on in senses related to death, and because a wild or elated state of mind was once believed to portend death, other senses arose from these. The word fay, meaning "fairy" or "elf," may also have had an influence on some senses of "fey." Not until the late 20th century did the word's most recent meanings, "precious" and "campy," find their way onto the pages of the dictionary."

In short, fairies in modern usage connote Tinkerbell, but traditional faeries are dangerous and dark.
    PC NA, PC EU

"Instead of taking the best of the dolmens (predictable rotation), the best of the geysers (scalability based on number of players), and the best of the dragons (map location and health indicators) and adding them together to make a fun and dynamic world event scenario, they gave us....... harrowstorms." https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/6850523/#Comment_6850523

The Fae and Faeries in folklore weren't like the hollywood versions. They could be cruel and malicious, snatching children and causing harm to people who entered their territory. They would sometimes help, if they felt like it. More often than not they would trick people, usually ending up harming them or leading to their death. If you minded your own business and made sure not to offend them they would usually leave you alone, if you crossed them they would get their revenge.

I really want Necromancer as an actual skill line rather than a class, I feel necromancy is something everyone should be able to learn.

Also it would be an interesting alternative to the Mage's guild skill line, if you could only have one active at a time.
