Zenimax will need some time to "digest" our feedback. Changes to recovery could come later.

So please, do not freak out too much. Keep testing, keep giving good, constructive feedback with proper proof.

    YEAH!!!

We won't even need to remember the fact that... every PTS before this one, despite mountains of feedback from the PTS testers, nigh every single PTS patch went to the Live servers exactly how they appear on the PTS. Next to NO CHANGES brought forth by the testers were made before the PTS went to Live.

ZOS's track record: If it appears on the PTS, that's how it will be on Live, regardless of the feedback they get.

There's still time for 4 or 5 more patch tweaks. They need to address the issues of Vet-level pve content and issues with changed powers like Siphoning Strikes no longer being viable for the resource regen it was originally designed for.

Sure, we can go with this line of thought.

    Except:

    - Their own PTS is blowing up with the sheer number of players vehemently against 99% of the changes in it.
    - Their Facebook page is blowing up.
    - Their Twitter account is blowing up with people opposed to these changes.
    - Reddit is lacerating them over these changes.
    - Five (5) major ESO streamers are vociferously against these changes (and many smaller streamers) and telling them about how it will hurt their game (and a couple of them have started enacting moves to leave ESO behind).

So, with the majority of their players against these changes, and telling them about it mind you, It's all just "wah wah wah" threads that they have to sift through?

What fevered pitch does the negative opinions of these changes have to hit, before it changes from "wah wah wah" threads to "hey, there's actually serious game concerns with this patch, and your community of players is trying to make you aware of them"?

Including this week there are 3 more weeks and possibly 4, 4th includes a week to adjust for the 3rd weeks data, since this update releases on all platforms at the same time. This gives 2 to 3 weeks for console approvals to go through. 2 weeks is usually the minimum time necessary without adjustments

ZOS has been awesome and we have been very interactive over the past week for what the community wants to see. They have given us tons of responses and reasoning for every single update and they have been known to make changes according to what we want as a player base.

Ya lets pretend this happens. If no major changes have happened yet they've been known to not even acknowledge them even post release. Quit the optimism they don't change their minds.

Im sorry, but i just dont believe anywhere near as many people are on the actual PTS as they are crying that the changes are so terrible, impossible to play etc..it took me maybe 10-15mins per toon to adjust and adapt my playstyle to have almost the same dps as live (without changing a single set), sure resource management is a real thing now, and heavy attacking is required, but its a good thing.

For too long the meta (most likely promoted by those same eso streamers) has basically dumbed down the content and playstyle, to the point where SOME of these changes are necessary (yes i dont agree with every change in the pts notes, and i will be testing and leaving feedback on everything).. and now its showing, with most seeming to struggle to even try to test and find a way to adapt, and instead crying bad patch or simply rage quitting.

Any posts ive seen that are actually constructive or genuinely testing the changes are either being swamped with comments about how they dont know s#!t and the patch will ruin all, or are buried under pages of new threads all about how bad this patch will be..

I think this is probably a big overlook. Im not sure they are looking for creative input either. They want to make sure it is working as intended, not whether we like it or not. Im pretty sure they didnt make these changes and unknowingly realize there would be a bad taste in ours mouth.

They are most likely assuming that once it goes live that everyone will slowly come to live with the changes.

Yeah, because even with the FLOOD of "pages of new threads all about how bad this patch will be..", since they don't agree with you, they must ALL be wrong...

As I said in another thread; "what fever pitch do we have to get up to, in order for people to realize how bad these changes are?"

But nope, we're going to "ostrich" this one, because no matter how many multitudes of people are saying these changes are bad, they must surely all be wrong if they don't agree with you.

Yeah, because even with the FLOOD of "pages of new threads all about how bad this patch will be..", since they don't agree with you, they must ALL be wrong...

If one man can be wrong, 1000 men can be wrong. (women are never wrong  ). Quantity is not an indication of accuracy. People are herd animals. Quantity is an indication of the size of the herd. Quantity is an indication of popularity.

This patch is not completely bad. I think the statistic you made up earlier was that 99% of it was bad? This patch has rough areas that they need to address, and it will be interesting to see what they do. I cannot say that I agree with how they are rolling out these changes, but it certainly got a bit of attention.
