Yes do not allow random Veteran groups in the finder.
I just finished trying to get a monster helmet and it was one of the worst gaming experiences I have had.
The majority of players that queue up random veterans do not have the skill level, character build, or the champion points to do veteran dungeons. I had to go through multiple failed groups that could not complete the dungeon.
One group we got all the way to the last boss and then for some reason could not do it. Complete waste of time and a thousand gold repair bill. Most of the time groups fail due to lack of dps.
The chance of failure is just too high so I will never queue random veterans again.
Veteran dungeons should be like trials where you have to form a group.

I would like to see them remove Dungeon Finder from the game in its entirety! I am sure that is not a popular view, but guilds and socialization would be much improved for its being gone. As it is, I never use it, and only group with guild and sister guild folks. Wishful thinking, I know.

Again, this is an absurd suggestion. There is not reason for me to have to do the normal version of a dungeon to do vet since I usually do the vet HM speed run on new characters to level up undaunted fast. If I can do that then it would be just plain silly to restrict me from going strait to vet.

Again, this is an absurd suggestion. There is not reason for me to have to do the normal version of a dungeon to do vet since I usually do the vet HM speed run on new characters to level up undaunted fast. If I can do that then it would be just plain silly to restrict me from going strait to vet.
If you want to do that, create a group for it. The dungeon finder is not there to carry subpar players

Other than that it was fine.. the tank got sucked into the cave somehow and I managed to "tank" the boss for a while with shields. Group was a little low on dps but we cleared it.
There was once where everyone except the tank died and we made quite a recovery there.
It's not that bad.. and for a first timer not knowing the mechs.. I think I did fairly well. At least I didn't cause a wipe.
On another run.. there was this tank that just left after the first trash clear saying that we were doing 6k dps each.... Such elitism..

I should not have to be bothered with ssuch silliness.
Since I've done many random GF groups in vet and only had 3 times the group didn't clear it doesn't seem how GF works is the issue. A great many have good runs via GF regularly.
