Is it possible to cancel my pre-ordered morrowind copy?

Well, everyone is talking about unsubscribing, quitting the game, cancelling everything and so on... To be honest i don't really trust the company's movements anymore after what's happening with all these (in my opinion) nonsense nerfs and changes.
So until everything gets cleared, I would like to cancel my morrowind preorder, thing is... is that possible? Can't find any options to do so.
Comrade, a word...

Would have to deal with cs or billing directly. But honestly, look ay some of the 'quitting' polls, its a vocal, whiny minority.

Im not being pulled by anyone, just my own perception of what these tweaks in the game mean for me. im not quitting, at least not just yet, but i cant throw anymore money blindly cause... well, as i said, dont like the direction the company is going so far. i just want to see what happens first, maybe i will re-purchase the expansion again..? dont know just yet. for now i will cancel it if its possible.

Same for me I'm not quitting at all but these changes are just to much and I don't like the way the game is going. If things are change months down the road I might buy it but right now it's a big no.

I think if you preordered a digital copy from the ESO website you can't. But a physical copy from stores most of the time you can.

Btw I quit too, but I had already noticed the direction so I didnt even preorder morrowind.

Hope they get their *** together and start listening to the community

Depends where you live. In the EU, including the UK, yes you can, it's baked into our laws. Very doubtful ZOS would try to prevent a refund for a pre-order anyway, wherever you are.

I do feel it is prudent to wait for release, given the low quality of DLC released by ZOS to date and the rather broken state of the base game (horrid performance, Finder broken since Homestead etc.), I think Morrowind stands a good chance of being another turd. There's no point at all in pre-ordering, wait a week or 2 post release and if it gets good reviews then fill your boots.

It's 2017 ... stop preordering. The internet won't run out of downloads.

You're on PC, if it was a digital upgrade, just open a ticket.

LoL! You have no idea about refunding! You didn't pre-order, and you're very wrong on the refund.

    Such an expert.

You're attempt to stick it to ZOS and look cool on the forums has failed.

I'm pretty sure most of the people are all talk no bite.

I'll be interested to see how many who have so loudly proclaimed they're leaving actually leave, vs just unsub and keep playing whilst being bitter and ranting about the game they refused to stop playing. :yum:

not sure if that was sarcasm.. xD

If it wasnt... well, if i wanted a new game every three months i would just buy a new game every three months.
I just dont like my characters (with the amount of hours invested on them being a subscriber since 2014) being just spoilt of their uniqueness and personality just like ZOS keep doing. Im not talking about gear or weapons, but skills and abilities that are the core and the essence of each class.
Now its been templars and DK the most damaged, next month maybe sorcs? then maybe the golden warden after ZOS realises it doesnt work maybe?
Nah, i have invested too much time and cash on them to see them just broken just because the company thinks that they will fix the game doing this. Also justifying these changes mostly on favor of an environment that i dont enjoy nor I play which is pvp.
Its sadly funny how something i dont even play has managed to ruin my experience in the game. I have no idea of what they mean when they talk about infinite resources combats, and tbh im not interested.

So well, i may not be a famous youtuber with many followers, im not trying to convince anyone about my view, im not any kind of elitist or professional on this game. Im just someone who is starting to think if after the way ZOS deals with the direction of the game and the way they answer to their customers demands (which is complete silence and ignore) they deserve from me to invest any more cash blindly.

That's right, ride or die no matter what changes, every change make the adventure more exciting.

@coilbox i was being sarcastic. Honestly eso is the only game i play because i havent found better. Ps4 is my night time activity when the family sleeps and until something better comes along ill stick it out.

I dont like the sweeping changes, but right now its necessary. Id prefer it never got to this point. Most of my friends have left for other games but i just am not interested in the games they play. Its this and RNG that turn me off to this game, but the pvp is what keeps me here.

I can confirm that I got a refund for both my Morrowind Pre-Order and 180 Day ESO Plus subscription (which shouldn't have renewed anyway) on PC/NA Digital. I'm not quitting, but I'm not going to keep giving them money until I'm satisfied with the product enough to make that perpetual investment.

If you're unsure or unhappy about the direction of this game and your future in it, it makes perfect sense not to keep throwing money at ZOS. Your money, your right. It doesn't make you whiny; it makes you a smart shopper.

Besides, they'll pay more attention to numbers more than they'll listen to QQ'ing in the forums.

Edit: I would like to add that ZOS was very courteous and prompt to respond to my refund ticket. They didn't give me any grief or pressure to stay.
