Let's face it, ZoS aren't making any money if I can craft something that's better than something people have to pay cash for. ZoS want people to buy Morrowind so they make the new class superior by nerfing others.

I will continue subbing and playing for now, because I am not an elite and bumble through just doing whatever, I am a scrub and no right minded group would take me into a trial anyway because I don't have the right set. The set that drops from the DLC dungeon. So there is your p2w, unless you run a particular set you cannot get into a trial so you must buy the DLC to farm the set to do the trial to get the stuff to PvP with. Like I said, stealth p2w.

TL:DR
I don't want to support the game but I want all the content.

Payment model allows it. Look how well the game survived when it didn't.

Well he clearly did not make a good point.

"I am not happy doing a grind in a mmo."

All he really said is.

"I am burnt out of the game, and the content coming out is not enough for me."

I am not having fun with the game, but I am still going to keep playing because I lack good willpower. I play things when I am not having fun anymore. Does this mean that the devs are doing things right?

I really feel like Deltia's reasons for leaving have little to do with Morrowind or the patch notes. He basically says he was addicted to the game and not enjoying it for over a year and that he's now into fitness and family. This is a very personal reason to leave.

The main criticism he makes of ESO is the endless grind for random rewards and Zos ignorong the often requested feature to allow playrs to earn a currency from activities that they can turn in for specific gear to cap the grind.

I think you're missing the huge difference in the level of dedication to the game vs the previous three years' worth.

Has nothing to do with lack of willpower - has to do with the personal (intangible) payoff he receives for his time. If you don't think his playtime will change dramatically, if you don't think his content creation will cease, if you can't see the difference between being able to play and assist friends for personal reasons, then you're missing the point entirely.

No one is obligated to meet your chosen standards, hate to break it to you.

It's a step in a long series that started with b2p and is continuing down a potentially treacherous path. If you don't think dedication to the game has suffered for various reasons over this kind of thing, you're fooling yourself.

@Ch4mpTW. Right! I posted a thing on the forum sort of related to this but instead asking what people had thought of the beta after actually testing themselves (based on the overall community experience) and @ZOS_JohanaB closed it and linked us to talk here.

Where this thread is just about streamers and appreantly you can't talk beta stuff outside the closed forum. It seems they want to suppress feedback about the morrowind testing .. lol

Why do people watch streamers? I mean I can understand in the cases they are funny. Like the guys/gals that play a bunch of different games to give people an idea of what the games are like. Sort of a comedy shopping channel for gamers. But streamers that play only one game and have an audience? Redundant as watching sports. Why watch it when you could do it?

Anyway why is this such a big deal? Deltia is his own person and eso is its own game....Deltia is NOT eso so if he leaves the game thats his choice. It shouldnt determine if other people stay or leave.

Also the person white knighting in a previous post seems a bit off....what exactly do you consider a good cause? are you telling me you paying his gym membership and or gas bill is considered a "good cause"?? If you really want to help him out dont give him money to play video games and force him to go outside every once in a while. You shouldnt give money to a drug addict right?? So why is it ok to give money to someone addicted to playing a video game? Too many streamers think they are god....its annoying.

So you're really just salty that @Deltia makes money doing something he loves and you don't? To me, keeping a war veteran with PTSD off welfare or prescription drugs and out of the VA is a good cause. He takes time and effort and creates content people not only enjoy, but find useful and valuable. It's not like he's just streaming in Cyrodiil like, "Derp...Give me monies." He has been one of, if not the most helpful player in the community. Recently, he's also been trying to encourage gamers to live a more healthy lifestyle. If people want to give him money, he deserves it. Comparing what he does to a drug addict panhandling is disgusting.

As much as players want change...they don't really want "change." They like to keep what works for "them." I think people aren't seeing the big picture here. There is no way ZoS is just going to up and scrap CP. It's the primary method of maintaining any sense of progression after level 50 and allows for customization that is much needed.

They have to do something to force a greater split in play styles and the choices people make AND they simply can not have a bunch of unkillable Tank/DPS builds ruining Battle Grounds. As much as I really like my extra regen and cost reduction CP abilities I believe this will do more to balance the game (for a relatively minor change) rather than scrapping or reworking the whole CP sysem. I believe these changes will be less painful than folks think atm.

As to Deltia. Shrug. If he' s not having fun he should move on. Of course he's turned his gaming into a business so I guess it's not all about fun for him anymore but whatever.

It's actually really sad to see someone like Deltia who truly loved the game go. He was extremely influential in the PVE community and always defended ZOS until recently. Really hope that @ZOS_RichLambert gets the team together to slow down their cornucopia of regen/reduce cost changes as well as lessen the drastic nerf of CP.

Give us small incremental changes and wait to see what is working and what isn't instead of alienating a huge base of faithful diehards like us!

Agreed. I would like to see a more scientific approach to changes. Rather than changing 74840 variables on a biannual basis, they should change 1 variable at a time so we can see what the difference is. Let's see how we do without cost reduction CP first. If it's still too much, then maybe nerf regen. If that's too much, then maybe nerf resources replenishment scaling. Etc. Testing one variable at a time more frequently would allow for more thorough analysis and constructive feedback.

Also, without some sort of standard, what are we measuring against? What's the ideal time a team should complete vICP? What's the ideal time a 1v1 fight should last? Touching sustain and damage ultimately affects duration. So adjusting it makes no sense if you don't have an idea of what the ideal event competition time should be for given tiers of players (e.g. <50; 160; 300; 450; max...)

I'm a pretty casual player and I really only play this game for the story element. But I'm having trouble sustaining my Stamplar in really long fights and I have ~350-360 CP right now. If these sustain changes go live, it will murder my build. I am also extremely disappointed in the obvious cash grab that is the warden. However, despite this, I'm sure I will still enjoy the game once Morrowind comes out.

lol let me correct u a bit there sweety...I dont recall saying i was mad about not getting paid to play video games. i dont stream so i cant even try to make money at it which makes that argument sound similar to the one you made against the drug addict comment i posted. I didnt say deltia was a drug addict or compare him to a drug addict. the comparison was at the addiction part. he himself stated he is addicted to playing eso and even plays it when hes not happy with it. so please tell me how this isnt negatively effecting his life and or health??

again you misunderstand what im saying...im not saying he isnt making content that people enjoy....but a charity stream is well beyond anything i consider acceptable. its comparable to saying "i got my feelings hurt" or "im upset with the outcome of something please give me money because it will make me less unhappy". not only that....most of his contect is him using content created by other people aka ZOS and bethesday. so yet again i will say the same thing i said the first time....deltia is his own person and eso is its own game....deltia is NOT AND WILL NEVER BE eso. you can argue with me until your blue in the face but at the end of the day an entire 21 page thread started because someone mentioned hes leaving the game is 100% silly and not needed.

it annoyed me so much that i heard about this kid in guild chat and group chat (xbone) all yesterday that i felt the need to come on here to see who else was annoyed and found this thread lol. i made my first post a little while ago and this one is now my second so im about as impartial as one can be about this topic. streamers are not gods....even the ones with assets in places that some would find appealing. stop white knighting them like they are your lord and savior....its creepy.
