Reward for the Worthy Opt Out.

Reward for the Worthy.

The 'reward' doesn't seem like much of a reward. Inventory management is such a pain in this game, and I am forced to dump this trash into my inventory -- then search it out to destroy it.

I remember when I was new to the game receiving these and being excited at the prospect of getting items from PvP -- man are those days gone.

Now I'm getting spammed with mail containing tiny amounts of gold and items so worthless I wouldn't bother picking it up off the ground if it was dropped. Seriously, the flowers you pick in the game are literally more valuable, you can easily find items dozens to hundreds of times more valuable just looting a random containers in cyrodiil.

You know what ZOS? Just send me flowers, I can do something with crafting mats -- particularly alchemy crafting mats. Send me siege, or repairs, or gold, or nothing at all.

I consider 250-290ish gold per mail after vendoring the item to be worthwhile. :/

Abuse the "new item" category. Take all mail attachments, close UI window without opening inventory. Go to merchant, click "sell", all the freshly taken attachments are on top of your inventory list. Sell the trash, its faster than destroying, not to mention more profitable :)

Put some dungeon sets in there instead and I'll be interested. Or the craft mats I'm too busy killing players to get, like gold upgrade materials or alchemy materials (no, I'm not going to farm IC for those, ZOS).

And while you're at it, boost the end of campaign rewards to a "living wage" in tamriel, but do it for characters that have earned a LOT of AP, so PvEers or uncommitted PvPers cant just earn 100k AP per character for 8x or more what I get for earning millions of AP on one character.

I agree. Bank full, inv full, mail full. At the minimum, let us delete rewards for the worthy mails without having to take the item first..

But ideally, I'd rather just have gold in the mails.

Or allow us to Decon items that are in mails..

Especially since the AP gains, these mails ate just like spam now.

I use 3 options for every drop:
    1) If they contain any expensive style item, are blue, or contain useful traits like sharpened, divines or training I decon them. Once I have enough of those I sell them separately, in stacks on guild stores
    2) If they are green or white and don't contain useful trait, style or tempers I vendor them
    3) If they are part of a set and have good traits I look up in MM if they have a price and sell them on guild store
    4) If they are part of a set which is considered BiS I keep them.

Only #4 gives me inventory problems, and I have decided that some items are really #3 since the sets are not BiS.

The problem here is that everything you've listed is like some sort of inventory management mini-game you are playing, if that is enjoyable for you, great.

It isn't enjoyable for me, and it doesn't provide any benefit as the amount of money made off it wouldn't come anywhere close to keeping me in potions, poisons, and food for PvP. If I'm going to spend time doing this kind of boring grinding, I need to do it in a way that maximizes my ability to craft/buy the consumables I use in PvP, and inventory management games ain't it.

Honestly running around and picking flowers, or looting houses tends to be a much more efficient use of time -- if perhaps not as dignified.

someone explain why a lt armor magblade using desto/resto gets 20 axes in a row? Didn't a year or so ago they say they were going to me the rewards more "sensible"?

@#&^$@ it... just give us tokens or something and expend the vendor equipment. Nor more @#&^@ mystery boxes with mystery armor/weapons in them.

You can open all the mails until your inventory is full. Go immediately to a vendor/merchant, the new items will have an icon on them and they will be at the top of the list. You can then go down that list and sell it all. Or lock all items in your inventory you don't want to sell by accident. It takes less than a minute to clear dozens of rewards mails.

WTB end of campaign reward with Master weapons like days of yore.

@ZOS_BrianWheeler Can this be considered? Back in 1.5 and prior we use to get a Master weapon or two(depending on campaign duration) at the end of campaign rewards for the top 2 - 4% players on the faction leaderboards.

I'd bother homing a campaign I care about and farming AP again for that...

"Well done on that keep defense! Here is some random crap we had lying around that will be of zero use to you, bc the Covenant/Dominion/Pact appreciates your efforts!"

Seriously, just send me rep kits. Or make a token system already and let me buy rewards that would be rewarding.

Classes that don't need any class ability nerfs: Nightblades, Dragonknights, Sorcs, Templars, Wardens.

There is an add on that can trash them all for you quickly.

Would be nice if the Reward for the Worthy mails included some random item from all the overland, dungeon and trials sets
