"Hello everyone,
Beginning at 6:00pm EDT tonight (in about 25 minutes), we’ll need to bring all European megaservers offline for maintenance. We recently identified an issue that, if left untreated, could impact your ability to log into or stay connected to ESO. We anticipate downtime being approximately 3 hours, and will let you know as soon as maintenance is complete.

Now it is 18:51 EDT!!! In Germany it is 00:51 I just came back from late Shift and this not-announced Maintenance last now for 12 hours ? Is this a late April Fools Joke ?

It started around 1 hour ago at 22:00 UTC, which is 0:00 in Germany. As stated above it will last approx 3 hours. You might want to consider going to bed, as your reading or math is kinda off!

Did you read the announcement? It includes the UTC time. That is what the OP should look at to avoid ambiguity.

✭disconnects are rampant today on US server too it seems....cant get past character selection on PC NA. and this is why i jumped from EU TO NA....sigh.. honestly - all the events, features, maps, trials, claseses- motifs all that crap dont mean a thing if your game isn't stable and smooth. It is THE most imperative thing for an online game and yet it feels like its an afterthought here. i wouldn't mind the game going offline for a week if it meant that they could fix everything- update servers - and give us an oceania server- so we could be rid of all this. its truly disappointing to have invested so much money time and not be able to play continuously for more than 15 minutes.
I'm sure alot would agree. just give players a compensation of crowns and gold upon return - make an event of it- or divert everyone to the PTS - and I'm sure the player base would forgive a week offline- but the constant interruptions and inconsistent- unreliable nature of what we have now just sucks.Edited by MakoFore on April 10, 2017 11:38PM1 -
