I have gotten a little frustrated at people who take a treasure chest while your fighting off the mobs that were guarding it. That's a little dirty-but still part for the course in mmo's.7 -

✭Well if its gone its gone it Can't be helped next nodeI assume the OP is talking about 'ninja looting' of a node which you're clearing mobs from, otherwise "from under you" has no meaning as they simply reached it before you.
It's annoying but most MMOs except the likes of GW2 and FFXIV suffer from it so there's no point in reacting .. that said, I have very rarely /say-ed something offensive when the jerk was being a class 1 jerk.
The likes of GW2 and FFXIV of course don't suffer from this, they're far more enjoyable to be a gatherer in.Edited by KerinKor on April 7, 2017 12:01PM1 -

Exactly... its inevitable when farming... you're going to meet other farmers. The hope is just that your node rotation doesn't match up with his/hers at all. Crossing paths once in a while is a non issue. Just move on, nothing to see here.CP690

The_Art_of_Paw✭✭✭Well if its gone its gone it Can't be helped next nodeOne time annoyed me so much on a chest that I didn't bother looting for a while. After that I adapted and understood that the game is how it is, and to loot or be looted.
I'd prefer things a little different though can't change how the world is, only our reactions and all that jazz.
These days I have a look of pity at the guys doing it, slowly losing their kind innocent ways to the dog eat dog lifestyle of the MMO grind machine. I tune out mentally, just loot what I can and keep on rolling. I even loot the leftovers that people give, I find it fun to see what levels have come through (level of item showing the level of the player).

What this one most certainly does not like is when khajiit she is practically standing on a node and fighting something and someone they take the node from under the paws of this one.
Khajiit will stand there and stare at the person of unforgiveable rudeness. If they move khajiit she will move too and stare at them. This one she will remember them yes.
Then they go on the naughty list for Fishmas. No goodies for that one from Santie yes.

✭✭OtherA player followed me around an area, in one of the zones doing exactly that. About to pick the nodes when the said person raced in three different times, just as my character was about to interact.
Didn't say a word in zone chat, whisper them or report them. Plenty of other nodes around. Best way to stop a potential troll, is to not react.
To top things off, the following day a player ran up from behind when I was about to pick pocket an npc. They failed and was chased off by the npc. After the npc came back, went to have another go at pick pocketing. The same player came back as I was about to have another attempt at pick pocketing and killed the npc using the blade of woe. ✭Because of latency, the guy you are raging at sees you trying to take his node, not him stealing your node. The game knows who was there first. If stuff like this gets you bent there are better outlets for your free time that involve less anxiety.“Whatever.”
