Is there any benefit to running a vet pledge instead of a regular one? I could swear i got 2 keys when finishing a vet pledge but i just completed another and only got 1. If theres no benefit then why not just run the daily on normal to finish ASAP?

Each pledge has a "hard mode" challenge. If you complete this challenge while the dungeon is set to veteran difficulty, you will get 2 keys. Most of the dungeons just require you to read the scroll of glorious battle before the last boss, while others have more specific hard mode requirements.

    This.

To expand the long and short of it is what you want from that dungeon. You can only get the helmet drop from vet mode and the jewels on the last boss will only drop purple on vet mode. So to summarise if there's any gear you want relating to monster sets and jewelry from a specific dungeon then you'll have to go veteran.

If it's just for the key you need ask yourself "can I get in a group where the other 3 players know their arse from their elbow. Sounds simple enough but there's a lot of people in the group finder that are just god terrible players. If you have guildies you trust do it with them on vet and activate hard mode at the end and get 2 keys. If you don't have guildies you can trust and don't want to waste hours of your life doing content that some people are incapable of doing, opt for normal. Better still if you're good enough yourself you can solo normal dungeons so it's an easy single key.

    Hope that helped OP

Only if you activate hard mode at the end. Which pledge did you do?

2 keys = when you complete vet dungeons on hardmode either by 'special' optional task OR activating via the scroll of glorious battle
1 key = completing the vet dungeon only

Yes, hard mode is only relating to the final boss. If you are only there for keys, there is no point in doing vet pledge if you don't do hard mode.
