If any one ever had the opinion that Elder Scrolls Online is a pay to enjoy product, and Zenimax are milking people, they wouldn't have to use much evidence beyond the fact that the crafting bag is available to subscribers only. The realization that so many people willingly accept this as the 'norm' speaks volumes about modern MMOs.
I could understand if it was a free to play game with a subscription option, but it isn't - it's a buy to play game, which in order to get services that should be included in that original purchase, costs additional money.
And let's not get started about the paid DLCs...expansions ok, but DLC?
So it's not just about bank space. As one user said, that's icing on the cake - I presume though, nasty aftertaste synthetic sugar substitute taste, when you consider what you actually paid monthly for.

Any and every MMORPG on the market that offers a subscription service, gives their subscribers perks and benefits that the non-subscribers don't get to enjoy.
The only MMORPG's that DON'T do this: are MMORPG's that require a subscription from every player.
And this is how it's always been in the MMORPG genre. It's not new. It's not shady. It's not a shameless money grab.
MMORPG's used to be entirely subscription based. You had to pay every month to play anything at all. But everr since the first MMO to do so gave a B2P or F2P option, they have all given extra Perks to those players whom subscribed as a way of saying "thank you" for the additional, regular revenue.
Anyone who doesn't realize this is either 1) new to MMO's or 2) keeping themselves willfully ignorant/blind for the 20+ years MMORPG's have been in existence.
It was important for console players especially that there was an option to play the game without the originally-intended subscription but it makes good sense to give decent incentives to subscribe nonetheless, and people can make a simple choice based on their personal preferences and means. If it's worth it to you and you can afford it then subscribe, if it isn't worth it to you then don't subscribe and stick instead to the Crown Store, and if it's worth it to you but you can't afford it (or can afford it but prefer not to pay much for your gaming) then it's doubtful that subscription/B2P games are really suitable and F2P titles might be a better bet. The market is so big now that there are always options.

So that's what? around 10%? Increasing inventory by around 10% or even less if you bought character slots.. Not very impressive, tbh.
Also, wouldn't want to support something like that. Bag space shouldn't be for subs only, could sell it for crowns, if anything. And make subs give the same amount of crowns per dollar as buying crowns directly, so that there's no reason not to sub.
no you got that flipped, bank has 240 spaces, characters have 200 spaces. So double bank space is total of 480 spaces..
