I'll probably buy it. I've got 23k crowns just sitting around (I've had ESO+ since launch). Can you buy the target dummy and crafting station with crowns? Also how do you get the Argonian target dummy? I'd rather beat up on an Argonian than a Humanoid one. Argonians are easily one of the most annoying races in the game lol

You can buy the craft stations and a standard and heroic target dummy either khajiit or argonian with crowns, from inside your home -- but that will cost you roughly 26k crowns for the stations and dummies, before your housing purchase, and that doesn't include the attunable stations (that allow you to replicate set craft stations like TBS or Seducer, etc.)

Too much money for a digital pixel home. Although I am a bit biased as I'm not into the whole housing thing. There just isn't anything beneficial to having a home...

Now if it gave us extra bank/inventory space...

Its very pretty but it is way to large for a player house. To me it better suits a guild hall.

Its way to overprice like always and housing doesn't really have a purpose right now. So why spend over $100 just for something that sits there.

    House that has following features
    • invisible walls
    • price that is over the price of both base game, DLCs and Morrowind
    • limit of only 24 ppl that could be inside at once
On the other hand, here are few features that this hole in the wall(et) does not have
    • stash space
    • useful, non crippled versions of vendors
    • enough space for all mounts/pets one would like to put inside

I see no point in spending a ton of cash on something like this.

If I had only two possibilities to decide between:

1/ take 120 bucks and buy cavern from ZOS
2/ take 120 bucks and toss them into the sewers

Number 2 will be the clear undisputed option no matter what.

Not buying because it's not a housing option that interests me. The price is high but not unexpected with the direction the Crown Store has been heading.

I see nothing wrong with the price though. I think it is fitting.

But I need only 67K more for Daggerfall Overlook and that's all the house I need. I'll rahter buy nice costumes with my crowns.

I biught the cavern. Too few space for decorating again, 700 slots is nothing. Please, increase decorating space for large houses. For crowns, ok, but just give us this possibility.

Not touching this at all, price is WAY too expensive! As mentioned by others, I can buy 2 new games for this price or 1 C.E. with physical items but they want this for an in-game home that actually has ZERO use and function to it? Even if it had storage it wouldn't be worth this much BUT it would at least have some functionality. As it stands now, NO WAY! I won't even buy (with gold or crowns) any of the other houses in this game. Housing was a complete let down and almost pushed me back to EQ2 or FF XIV. Not just due to the prices but the whole housing system, crafting housing items, etc... the entire thing is the most ridiculous setup lacking so many features and the grind is beyond stupid. I'm fine with working for things but this grind is idiotic but thankfully I didn't get sucked into this housing because sadly my PC crapped out so I won't be back for a while... if ever at the rate ZOS is going with this lately (crown shop prices just make me worry this game is a sinking ship and they are just trying to rake in what they can before pulling the plug). If it's not then they have proven they are just as screwed up in the head as EA/Bioware who I have not supported for many years now due to ridiculous business practices and micro-transactions making their games a complete rip off.

I miss the days you paid for a game and had a complete game, not this pay for half a game then get ripped off to pay more to complete the game.

The non-subbed 300 furnishings cap on the smallest of large houses isn't enough. I can imagine how pathetic a cavern would look with such a small cap.

I am not buying, but not because of the price. I have not purchased any homes simply because IMO they are all so dull. Where are the wizard towers? The vampire crypts? The assassin hideouts? Maybe even a ship docked at a harbour? Or a horse drawn caravan deep in the woods somewhere? Where is the creativity?

I would just have a hard time playing an mighty evil wizard or a powerful vampire then going home to a regular looking house in a city somewhere, perhaps even saying hello to your neighbours on your way in before you put the empty milk bottles out....... :p

All jokes aside I have said this before but the houses need a lot more flavour before I will spend anything like 13000 crowns.

I strongly suspect that the over-the-moon, la-la-land pricing of Homestead stuff is a tactic to alter players' perceptions of what is and isn't expensive in this game. Put out a few items at 15, 16 or even 20K crowns and people gasp and complain etc. but then in a months time when they put a reskinned elk on the crown store for 5K many people think 'Oh, that's cheap!' because their perception of expensive has been shifted by the shock of the cost of these exclusive player homes. It's a well used marketing trick.

Not enough purpose to housing at the moment to shell out real money for it.

It was a 2 week long process for me to break down and spend in game gold for a decent house. I currently have about 4 items placed in there.

To get me to spend $120.00 on an in game house, it will need to do MUCH more than it currently does.

    This.

The person who was responsible for gouging the SWTOR playerbase is now in charge of Store Monetisation in ESO.

SWTOR was ruined by what happened there; looks like Zeni have failed to learn the lessons of history.

Because as much as the fanbase for ESO is committed they are nowhere near as committed as the fanbase for Star Wars, and Star Wars is in serious trouble as regards player confidence.

    Akk The Best

Ah, that explains it. We will be the new SWTOR in no time. I'm ready for TES6 personally.

Definitely looking forward to TE6 now. Games pricing options have just demotivated me

Might be a wait. Beth has those two sooper sekrit projects first. My theory is they are finally redoing their engine from the ground up, and these two new IPs are the guinea pigs before they let the new engine loose on their core franchises ES and FO.

I'm too spoiled now by other games like Minecraft and FO4 and Skyrim's Hearthfire DLC that let me build all sorts of stuff, including storage and farms and other items directly useful to core gameplay. I looked into the tunable crafting stations and, wow, that's a grind, innit?

Even the notorious No Man's Sky had an update to allow base building and farming. I think there's vehicles now, too. I should probably go update it.
