Yeah they're very poorly conceived in terms of appeal.
The only advantage to owning one presently is for very new characters. There are a couple of houses near horse trainers. So theoretically a house could save a bit of time with horse feeding and trait learning. Though it takes ages to make enough writs to buy crafting stations to squeeze that advantage out of a house.
So that's a slow to achieve advantage which doesn't apply to most long-time players.

You only make $100 a month? That's barely enough to eat on. How do you survive? Do you
live in a cave?

Also how do you get the Argonian target dummy? I'd rather beat up on an Argonian than a Humanoid one. Argonians are easily one of the most annoying races in the game lol

Are you aware there are countries outside US?
Lol 100 dollars for a game house, not even "true" content, *** that, there are many better ways to spend money, even buying a dlc would be much better, at least you have some content to play with.
I don't think anyone would pay for that if something costed 50k crowns.Kyle1983b14_ESO wrote: »

But, 13/16,000 crowns for a house? You need to save up about 10 months worth of subscription crowns to pay for that. I seriously don't get it.
MMOs really need to stop the "treasure store" thing because it is getting excessive. Its one thing to have some stuff for sale, but when they get to the point of having one item or roleplay piece that costs more than the game does, it is out of control. (i.e., a home that costs 120 bucks, that isn't much more than a roleplay tool at this point.) At least homes in SWTOR and LOTRO have storage and functional capabilities.
And the funny part is there the ones that will cry *** and moan the loudest when there's no content and the prices get so high it's even more ridiculous than it already is.. What's even funnier is they white knight every money grab ZOS has and they don't even realise there the ones hurting the game most ..I have a big problem with guys who buy this kind of stuff, because it allows company like ea to continue with these *** tactics. as long as people are willing to pay enormous amounts of money for this ***, companies will never change, and we will get *** everytime with overpriced season pass, gold, platinum, *** editions that costs an enormous amount of money, boycott this crap, all of it.
Mithril edition of the new lord of the ring game : 300 dollars, think about this.
