Building Ramps Instead Of Stairs?

Using blocks to build stairs sucks. At least on PS4. They are not player friendly. Hop, hop, hop.
But I can't find an object suitable for a ramp.
Anyone have any ideas on what material to use to create ramps?

✭✭✭I built a balcony in my garden with a ramp up to it made out of stone blocks. You can see it in 1st and 3rd picture. I don't like the jumping either for stairs.

These platforms make good functioning stairs. The blueprint is white quality and can be purchased at any NPC carpenter.

✭✭Since I tend to build high up, planks work best for me. I like the look of stone slab stairs much better though, but the slots burn out with those. stone slab looks the best imo (too bad it takes too many item slot).
if you prefer stone over wood, you can try some of the boulders. it's just that they have irregular/natural shapes and are not rectangular.0 -
