Just trying to do what I can with it. It's definitely still not better than heavy, but the difference is narrower than it was last patch. I don't like running the same build for long.

I use light armor in no-cp for the extra sustain. As tanky as heavy armor can get, it simply won't sustain for long without the stat inflation of cp. I also use the thief and not the atronach since I lose the cp crit passive, so I need quite a bit of regen elsewhere in the build.

I don't think sun is worth it because it doesn't buff dragon blood heal

I also thought LA was impossible on mDK. Then I realized that heavy ain't much better with the way the game plays. Figured I'd give it a shot.

Sure, I'm significantly less tanky. I've basically traded tankiness/stam sustain for penetration (more damage) and magicka sustain.

If you look at his character screen for the 2 sec its up his setup I think becomes pretty clear. Burning Spellweave + Amberplasm + BloodSpawn. Very nasty combo indeed. I can't even wrap my head around the insane farming/rng needed for those two sets but always Blab pulls it off with gusto. Bravo.

Bloodthorn is almost as good as amber... And about 10x easier to get. Could be a good substitute.

I'm fairly certain it's rattlecage he is using, not BSW. Never see BSW procs and he does not use any major sorcery skills. 35k magic with 3 prism enchants. Definitely Amberplasm tho.

I was running amberplasm in that end clip (where I showed my stats). However, I found it pretty mediocre. Also, after hours and hours of farming I only managed to get two impen pieces. I was running lich or seducer in the other clips. Also, I was using rattlecage in all of them because I personally prefer it over BSW. When BSW isn't up, the spell damage is just too low. Rattlecage gives me the permanent buff, which allows me to run a different skill.

@Ishammael Yeah I've actually considered it (bloodthorn). I might farm it on the weekend and see how it is.
