he does have a point @BrassRazoo I agree with @Chelo the game now they pushing it towards magic nobody is stam nomore at all amazing how it's not balanced but it shifted everything to magicka just crazy.

I have only ever played one character since PC beta, mag sorc. I have owned, and been owned. We who have played the same toon since day one have all suffered and benefited from the ebb and flow of changes to our characters, their skills. CP and gear sets.. If stam say mag is harder to kill now I cant say yes or no as I am not stam. I do know that as a mag toon stam has been beating me up for many months now. If it is mags turn again then I am grateful and it is stams turns to adjust, or put up with it, just as we have over recent times.

All I'm saying is before the update sorcs was dropping like flies some people knew how to shield stack now since the update came like @Ihatenightblades said u got to have at least 30 points into shatter cause the shields are not penetrable otherwise

If you are on PC NA in Trueflame. there are many players that just returned to mag sorc, and they knew how to play it before stam became OP in pvp.
Many meta players are playing magicka builds again since the last update. But, there are still many 1vx stam builds getting plenty of kills. I suggest you speak with them and find out how to fix your build.

    What does this even mean?

I'm saying that I wish every class had a reliable heal like Dragon Blood, BoL etc & that there were no shields in the game.
    Chelo wrote: »

And how the hell are Magicka Players going to avoid attacks? We roll dodge twice and we are out of Stamina, Block twice and out of stamina again... The game is already too stamina oriented, since you stamina players doesnt need magicka at all, just for utility skills like Shadow Cloak of NB...

Line of sight, Heal yourself, cc -- I play MagDK & Magplar, it's not impossible to play w/o shields.

I'll bite. If you are having a much harder time dealing with the defensive mechanics of a magicka sorcerer, then it's probably because ZOS nerfed your cheese. They didn't buff anything to do with shields this patch. Adapt. Learn to play. What's even funnier is you don't want to acknowledge the advice of others in here, instead you simply want to continue your rants and QQ without learning. You should be focusing on a magicka sorcerers stamina, not out damaging his shields.. Also, if you seriously are that bad versus magicka sorcerers, go take the time to go get shield breaker. However, no ones going to take you serious if you replace your old cheese with new cheese.

Shields are ridiculous let's be honest. I only play a sorc and sometimes think 'wow, good thing I can tank that meteor lol' magic is buffed this patch, but I held my own when stam was king, and you will too :)

    it makes the game interesting.

I personally only use hardened ward sparingly as it can lead to situations where you just defend until you die. Wasting resources on protection used to tempt me, but now I streak away, streak right back with a frag and a curse, and play mind games. I use my ward to safely cast dark deal to get my stam back, which always throws them off. 'Oh he can't break free again now so ill fear him and nuke him' were many nightblades last thoughts.

I prefer most of all to put surge and boundless storm on and heal by staying close and dpsing. Costs nothing more than the initial magic cost of the spells, and I can fight ppl rather than tank ppl!

The problem is stam players got so used to cheezy playstyle. The nerf to Tremorscale was the best. A tank set shouldn't be the best dps in pvp.
My stam blade still kills many magicka builds that would stack shields. Thing is, I dont' let them know I'm there until their shield drops. Then they die before they can react. The proc sets aren't totally gone, you just have to know when to use them.

And hey, just like you heal over time, think of shields as the inverse- it's the only way to mitigate over time, and should be used that way. If someone is shield stacking seriously just lock them down, knock em down, and take their crowns.

Got to say it is pretty crazy op when players have pumped their magika to 50k+ with 100 points in bastion. Usually it's just the pet builds though. I play sorc only but usually don't play those builds because hate wasting slots on pets

Tremorscale was terrible lol. It crit for 4k -- 5k on the squishiest of targets, Veli was god comparatively. The only thing Tremor had going for it was the snare.

funny how people say L2P wtf does that have to do with saying sorc shield is stronger and harder to penetrate from this patch are some of you dumb or what?

Well before Sorc shields were nerfed a guild member played a sorc and complained about how OP Templars, NBs and Dks were. He leveled up a NB and complained about how OP Templars, DKs and Sorcs were.

Funny how that works. A big part of PvP in this and any game is working out a build to kill and survive with the style of play you intend and knowing what situations to avoid with that build.

This is correct. Unfortunately you can only build your character one way. On console we don't have the luxury of add ons that allow us to hot swap loadouts so we are confined to a small space. We can all choose gear and skills that can counter and defeat another player with certain loadouts, but when we meet someone whose loadout does is not weak against ours we are stumped and immediately complain. Problem is you adjust for one popular opposing build but then are susceptible to another.
You cannot win in all scenarios on console.

You cant hot swap in combat. If you try to swap just before combat, most likely only part of the gear will get swapped. Leaving you in a jam. Trust me, I tried to do this it won't work.
You can never set a build for all situations, but you can get close enough.
