And give them 2 keys for completing normal but again those shoulders can only drop training and prosperous. Then take training and prosperous out of the vet content. BOOM BAM SOLVED YOU MAM!!!!!

    Do I think it would help? Yes. Do I think it would solve the issue? No. Just like I don't think removing prosperous and training from end game altogether would solve the problem, but again, it would certainly help. The underlying problem is still pure unforgiving RNG. They need a smarter loot system, bottom line.

    Edit: The other issue is we are back to multiple types of keys. Now if they wanted to put those 2 helms on normal mode and remove from vet, no issues here. I dont plan on running a normal dungeon ever again.

    Do I think it would help? Yes. Do I think it would solve the issue?     I agree with you this would be having 2 kinds of keys again. And the unforgiving RNG is a blatant problem. However taking those 2 traits out of the end game content is no small step. This would give those who are probably lower on the CP or experience chain a way to get gear and to progress through content with training gear on. And then eventually when they feel they are ready they can start to do the higher difficulty content. And it would allow the more end game players to have fun changeling content and get better gear.

    But as it is now. Deltia who got 200 out of 250 keys be either training or prosperous. And only 3 out of 250 be BIS. well frankly that is utter BS!

    Now I do not want training or prosperous but if ZOS intends for them to stay then so he it this is the best way. It is inarguably the BEST system.

    It doesn't even have to give 2 keys on normal, just keep the training and prosperous in normal only no other trait just those 2. Same with vma dang it no 150 gear just make it training or prosperous.

    ZOS never ignored feedback, they just didn't cater to the whining people:
    We have an update for you. We will be making the following changes to Trait attainability with the launch of Update 12:

    Prosperous and Training will be removed as a valid Trait for all items that drop in Trials
    Valid Traits for Trials and Leaderboard rewards are as follows:
    Weapons – Infused, Powered, Precise, Defending, Sharpened, Charged, Decisive
    Armor – Infused, Divines, Well-Fitted, Reinforced, Sturdy
    Items drops in the overland and in dungeons will have a chance of dropping with all available Traits, including Impenetrable

    Thank you all for sharing your thoughts with us on this subject. We appreciate how constructive this discussion has been, and the ideas shared.

    They did exactly what they promised to do, nothing more nothing less.

    If you incorrectly assumed traits you didn't like were being removed, that's your own fault.

    I'd love to see screenshots of this, and other completely hyperbolic claims of "I got 90% droprate from my keys!!".

    RNG is bad, but not that bad.

    Rng is rng, i have completed vma hundreds of times. I have one sharpened weapon- the resto from a leaderboard reward. Not 1 single sharpened weapon from the chest, ever. No 2h, no 1h, no destro, no resto, not even a Sharpened ice staff or 1h mace.
    I did however get like 9 charged weapons in a row. I have every single vma weapon in charged (most in duplicate) because, well, rng

    The issue is the majority of traits are just trash. They have no business even being in the game at all let alone on end game gear.

    It seems their entire model is based on herding people to keep repeating the same content. They do this by slanting the loot tables against you to a certain degree with drops and traits and it just keeps getting worse.

    It's really the only gripe I have besides lag with the game...drop rates are just atrocious....it wouldn't be so bad if I was guaranteed to get a decent item, but with the current trait dillution it makes getting ideal piece a real chore and I simply don't have time for that kinda grinding....

    I wouldn't put it past them to have some sneaky code that counts the number of keys your character has (or amount of CP) and decreases your odds of getting good loot because they know you will keep farming.

    So everyone coming in here and saying "Hey I got 15 divines in a row" are just low CP or new characters that haven't caught the "hard mode" flag in the code.

    saw a video of delta who had 250 keys saved up- and only got 2 BiS pieces.... and 200 prosperous and training . that ridiculous. for someone like me who can only gather like 4 a day- 3 days a week- that mean s it ll take me......til I'm 55...

    i thought we were going to have some kind of trade in system for repeats? the other thing? there is so much trash and monster set landfill! - every freakin mini boss and their clan fear drops something- where are we mean to store this crap? yesterday i got about 60 pieces of dropped armour that are unmatched- and until i match them up - i dont like to deconstruct them. how else am i meant to test something?
    just would be nice to have a seperate storage for armour that we havent committed to for us to hold impending armour or something- that dosent count against our bank holds. I'm going to have to create 2 more alts just for sets - when i already have 2. i get pay for convenience is one of the tenets of gaming today- but this is crazy....

    Wouldn't surprise me. In fact, it reminds me of when I was farming Briarheart in Wrothgar. Crappy trait after crappy trait. Eventually giving up before getting what I wanted. Then the motifs started dropping there the update after, so I started farming those and on my low level characters I would actually get good traits quite often.

    The problem is that it SHOULD both surprise and disgust us that ZOS would even consider doing things. But this is the internet and outrage is so played out at this point companies can do whatever they want and as long as its "just videogames' cant be easily held accountable for terrible practices.

    We need ZOS to come clean on this one. The entire playerbase is calling shenanigans at this point.

    The whole idea that crappy RNG prolongs playtime is stupid.

    If I get my best in slot gear, I play pvp. Hardcore raiders would try to get on the leaderboard for trials and set world record completion times. That's where the challenge and time to play SHOULD be spent, not on endlessly farming for a low chance gear and playing the lottery.

    Get rid of prosperous altogether and only make training drop on sub-level 50 gear.

    RNG is just complete cancer in ESO. I've spent around 200k TV so far looking for a shield in a TV sack (3k per sack). Wait, I'm lying. I did get one shield, but it was Training.
