While increasing the AP value of capturing objectives encourage people to capture Brindle - Drakelowe - Dragon - Vlast - Crops - Bruma, it also encourages players to remain at an attacked objective to make sure to get the offensive tick. Before the AP increase for objective captures, wise group leaders would often lead their group somewhere else if they judged that there is enough players of their factions engaging combat. Nowadays, people stacks and stays until it flips.

People have always stacked, nothings changed
I've said it before and I'll say it again - I think one (or both) of the following changes should be made:You could even mix these changes together if you want. So if 3 players take a level 2 resource they all get (600/3) 200 AP.
- Split the AP evenly between the group that takes it. So 10 people take a resource they all get 150 AP, if 3 people take it they all get 500, etc.
- Base the AP gain off the level of the resource. So make it 1500 AP if it is level 5, 1200 at 4, 900 at 3, 600 at 2, and 300 at 1. Do the same with keeps but increments of 1200.
I have stepped back and avoided every kind of exploit or cheap tactic in this game because I wanted to play fair, I spent months posting on the forums giving ZOS ideas how to handle things, explaining to others how abuse like this isn't good for the game. I came out of all of this with nothing, whilst I saw others become stinking rich and live the life without any repercussions.Well just goes to show how players can't have anything nice because half of the community just abuses it. The issue is not the ticks but the empty campaigns that foster such behaviors. This campaigns should simply be eliminated. A healthy population will not support such behavior at a keep / outpost.
Is it wrong.... probably are the players exploiting..... arguably. This is something that ZOS has to fix and apparently they are but don't worry they have decided to make it worse at least till March 7th. So for those out there that simply want to farm the AP there you go you know now how much time you have to continue. I also wanted to say this. I know there has been "punitive" actions taken against those that farmed AP at the BB mine; well nothing happened to me....

I contacted ZOS Support, Rich and Brian over the weekend to try and get a clear answer on if they find AP farming via outpost flipping something which they should act on and I got nothing back. So yeah I am currently sat here wondering if it's worth setting my alarm a couple of hours early each morning and getting some free AP before work for the next two weeks.
I'm tired of choosing the moral high ground and watching the cheap tactics win, so feel free to hate me if you see me at Bleakers, but I don't care any more.

This is a clear pattern, and there is no indication that it will be any different this time.
If you do go there, I recommend you kill all AFKers you can find around the outpost (there's always 15-20 of them), and then go inside and kill whatever you can with the destruction staff ultimate+++. Just hide behind the people there from your alliance, and no one is going to kill you because they need those people to flip the flags.
My highest kill count in 1 ultimate was 7 earlier today. I'm sure you can do better on a Nightblade.
This way you get the best AP rate out of anyone there, and you get to enjoy the feeling of knowing you're being an inconvenience to these people.

That's what I did over the weekend.
Trolling them whilst taking the ticks as well, it was fun just dropping Destro ulty on AFK clumps and watching the kills tick up.

Nice!
The inconvenience it causes is real. I'm sure you received plenty of nasty PMs from dead enemies too proving that.
I had the whole DC /zone ganging up on me like it's a friday night today after killing EP and repairing the wall.

So let's say if it's an empty campaign the AP is the the old AP system and as the campaign fills it's starts to bring the AP to the current AP gain. So like TF,azura people don't get punished for the people that are emp farming or abusing the new ap system on an non populated server. Also everyone that has been involved in the abusive ap gain. Go and wipe their ava ranks and all their stored ap. That should be punishment enough. Why go and punish the ones who arne not abusing the system and let the people that are abusing it go scotch free. That's one thing I don't understand about zos.
