I finally did it today and I'm surprised at how well it turned out. Snugpod seemed like an obvious choice because it comes with forest sound effects, and if a glimpse of wall does happen to peek through the trees, it has a nice leafy texture anyway, so it's less noticeable. The result is a bit cramped, but it totally works. The illusion is a lot better than I thought it would be. Now if only housing had some functionality, so we'd have a reason besides taking a break to go there.

Yes, you can. I have already found plans for an orcish one, and a normal one with and without shoulder straps.
It does look very very neat, I like it. But from immersive point of view, those trees don't get any sun, nor a space to grow.
Amazing job @Lunarhound — I didn't even realize this was an interior until I went to look at Snugpod. Would you mind listing some of the furnishings you used? Mainly for the ground cover, but anything really.
This is my favorite house I've seen. Because it's by far the most original. It genuinely looks like a campsite in the wilderness. If you don't mind sharing, how'd you do it?
