I turned Snugpod into a forest glade campsite.

Since housing was first introduced, I've wanted to create a camp site that my party and I can idle at when we're taking a break that doesn't require a trip to town. I finally did it today and I'm surprised at how well it turned out. Snugpod seemed like an obvious choice because it comes with forest sound effects, and if a glimpse of wall does happen to peek through the trees, it has a nice leafy texture anyway, so it's less noticeable. The result is a bit cramped, but it totally works. The illusion is a lot better than I thought it would be. Now if only housing had some functionality, so we'd have a reason besides taking a break to go there. :p

Yes, you can. I have already found plans for an orcish one, and a normal one with and without shoulder straps.

This is pretty cool. I'm mixed feelings about homestead at the moment but I'll admit one thing, that level of detail is pleasing. I like the crates, cups, backpacks, etc. Pads things out to seem lived in and not show home. :) I'll be keeping an eye out for those drops and maybe sacrifice a few goats to RNGesus to win his favour.

It does look very very neat, I like it. But from immersive point of view, those trees don't get any sun, nor a space to grow.

Amazing job @Lunarhound — I didn't even realize this was an interior until I went to look at Snugpod. Would you mind listing some of the furnishings you used? Mainly for the ground cover, but anything really.

Yeah, I had to suspend my own disbelief a bit when making this. I'm no expert, but I have doubts as to whether trees of that size could actually grow that close together. I was trying to work largely with what I already had, plus stuff from vendors. At some point, I may experiment with taking some of the trees out and seeing if I can just cover the walls with more plants and still maintain the illusion. At the moment, this was the best way to get the effect of being in a small space in a large wood, rather than feeling like you're in a small house with the walls covered in bushes. All of that said, I've been in some wooded places that certainly feel close to being this thick, so it may not be that far off. I think it'd come down to the specific types of trees and whether they could thrive with less light.

I finished and posted this just before bed last night, so I didn't have time to put up a list of assets. I'm at work at the moment, but I'll see if I can put one together when I get home. I'll edit the original post to include it. For the most part, it was done with stuff from the Trees of Tamriel pack and the furniture vendors. The tent was the hardest part. Since there don't seem to be any proper "camping" tents at the moment, I had to lean two tarps against each other and attach them to a laundry pole.

I pretty much just lined the walls with large trees to cover up the bright windows, then put smaller ones between them, sunk into the wall a bit to provide the illusion of depth. Wherever a piece of wall could be seen, I put some sort of low-to-the-ground plant, which gives the illusion of thick forest in the background instead of flat walls. The ground cover consists mostly of the grassiest looking bushes I could find, sunk into the floor so they look less like bushes. I also sunk the campfire into the floor a bit, so that it wasn't quite so huge. The only real flaw is the door. Since you can't put anything right in front of it, you just kind of have to imagine that you hung a curtain over the entrance to the glade or something. :p

As I posted above, I'll edit the main post with a list of assets used when I get home from work today, in case anyone is curious.
