It was a little long and stopped looking when I got to the long laundry list of you telling people not to buy the home.
It's really simple. If you don't like it don't buy it.
Oh, your math is off. It's closer to $55 for the crowns to buy the home for those that planned ahead and bought them on sale. Anyone else would be wise to wait for the next sale.
Problem solved. Happy to help. And pls don't tell us what to buy and what not to buy.
Cuz everyone planned ahead and knew the prices since like forever? It's not my style but I took a gander at it and concluded it is indeed a rip off at that price. Plus man, grow up. Obviously the "do not buy" was a bit tongue in cheek and had more to do with the theme of the post than trying to influence your buying habits. Lol, snowflakes and their precious sensibilities. Don't tell me what to buy and what not to buy! *sniff* I are in charge of my allowance monies.

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute a problem on my part. I find it ironic that in the original post its "don't buy it" and a couple of lines down its "only when crowns are on sale". And yes I have crowns from my sub, why would I not use them? Kind of silly isn't it? Telling me I can not buy it because the crowns from my sub were not a sale item? Lol. It is only a ripoff if you see it that way, others may find hours of enjoyment from it. So telling someone to not buy something because you don't see a value is pretty ballsy. That's like me yelling someone to not buy alcohol because it's not worth it. I mean your just gonna *** it out anyway.
I did buy it fully furnished then i bought the hundings house fully furnished and ued the furnishings from daggerfall overlook to further furnish the hunding house i now use the daggerfall mansion as storage but i now have the best title in the game (Until they make a Princess Title)

Sale prices don't count when making the comparison he's making, only regular prices. And why shouldn't he urge people not to buy something that is very poor value?Giles.floydub17_ESO wrote: »Oh, your math is off. What Overlook are you talking about? The one I've seen has no view at all from the tower, just some clouds if you're lucky. ZoS copying and pasting Daggerfall Castle's complete lack of a view is one of the laziest things I've seen in a long time.S1ipperyJim wrote: »The tower actually has far better views than, for instance Ebonheart mansion and you can easily view them by jumping onto the lower part of the railing. I'd be fleecing these people too and laughing all the way to the bank in the process.

Which kind of highlights pretty much everything that is wrong with the world today. Lack of integrity and lack of pride in one's product. I keep hoping this isn't really how it is with ZOS but they keep putting out things that dash that spark of hope pretty regularly.

The OP simply points out what a bad value this particular pixel property is. People are always free to throw away their money however they would like. Doing so on this, however, merely reinforces the idea that ZOS can make us swallow pretty much anything and I personally feel that's a really bad message to send them. As paying customers we can and should demand more value for our money, whether it be real money or in-game currency like gold.

While this may be true in others opinions, not everyone place the same value on things. I sub and the only real value to me are the crowns, which aren't as many as I'd like, and the craft bag. Others have dropped subs because of the xpac not being included or any other myriad of reasons. My biggest problem with the whole thing is when people assume everyone is going to go out and buy crown packs to purchase these manors. While that may be true in some cases, it's not true of all of us. I have almost 20k crowns from my sub and various sales, this is the first object of value I have seen, value to me anyway.
If everyone would take a real step back and take a look at cs pricing, it's not much different that it used to be. This may be long winded but try to follow for a minute. Before crates were introduced, any purple motif offered in game was sold in the crown for 5000 crowns, bag space upgrades were higher in the store, mounts were higher in the store. Any items offered in the store were reasonably priced if they were it offered in game. I will give you the 2 cs exclusive motifs as an example, right around 2k crowns. From my observations in game items are higher in the store. Reasons could be for any number of reasons, I like to call it a lazy tax. I farmed Maw to get all my dromathra motifs, if they had sold that motif in the cs for pittance it would not have made a portion of the player base very happy. 6k crowns isn't far off the mark from other motifs in the store considering it also comes with crowns.
From my perspective it wouldn't matter what the prices were, some people are going to complain, again for various reasons.
All in all its just going to boil down to what each individual feels as value. I know my playstyle and can see myself being entertained with housing for a good while. I have the crowns that I have recieved from precious months of subbing so they are basically free for me. What I mean is those crowns were from a sub that I have already used, and recieved my entertainment from.

Your reply doesn't make sense. Then again it's someone challenging to understand the younger generation.
Thx for giving it a go with an attempt to try to shut out an oppinion. Lol

No, sale prices do not count when making the comparison he's making. Since they are opportunistic you cannot legitimately use them to gauge the fundamental value of something. The OP is correct.Giles.floydub17_ESO wrote: »Sale prices certainly do count. Not my problem some ignored the obvious and didn't plan ahead.
I went up the tower. This is not a view, much less a multi-million gold one:S1ipperyJim wrote: »TheRealPotoroo wrote: »What Overlook are you talking about? What Overlook are YOU talking about, Daggerfall Overlook tower has an awesome view to the North of Daggerfall, and the harbour and ship. It's spectacular.
