Consoles getting buff timers in Morrowind Dlc!?

Been playing for almost 2 years now on Xbox na all we've got is DPS and healing add on. Anyway we could get a buff tracker tool. So instead of mentally trying to count in your head how long your war horn has been up in a bet trial. You can just look in the corner of your screen. I don't think it would be to hard to just throw those in with the morrowind update. So please ZoS from your consoles players, buff timers and trackers.

Yes. This'd be great. MmOs like never winter in Xbox one already have buff trackers so I imagine it's not the most difficult thing to implement on console

It's be really awesome if they just implemented these on all platforms to avoid addons. We have it easy on PC but still, total dps output and various UI options i.e. Buff/debuff trackers would be nice built in. Also ultimate/potion ready notifications. The addons are great and props to the people who put work into them, but by nature they're often not quite on.

Potions are not the things that are hard to keep track of. Running hots, dots and class buffs can be a lot to keep track of. They have visual effects but some are hard to notice. For example nightblade effects are all red. Both siphoning attacks and grim focus are on the weapon.

Buff/Cooldown timers would be a great addition, Trying to pay attention to auras surrounding your body is ok if you are simply questing, But when running Dungeons and Trials having individual timers that you can "visibly see" (not hidden away in character sheet) is such a better solution.

I use the FTC add on with buff timers on PC, and honestly I never even have the time to look at them. Also there are so many of them in a party it's really pointless.

I use the indications given by the game. They are much more helpful and easier to see.

The main reason for me to use FTC is the different health bar UI.

Sorc then crystal fragment proc and you have surge on, have fun with that in an chaotic setting with lots of enemies and effects. And this is an proc effect so you can not just learn to rotate it.

For buffs and dot its very nice, especially for inexperienced players like me.
Simply haveing an bar on the icon who light up and then goes down will be enough.
Again for sorc, I see how long curse has left to run so I can do another crunching shock before dropping it again
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Not only that, you can argue with him all day, and at the end, he will say buff timers will make stalemate fights, and when confronted with, "does pc have this issue?" he just avoids the question. Good players, will be just as good. Bad players will still be bad, and mabye a little bit better. New players will be able to learn much faster. I think DRX is scared new players will come in and wreck him.

Yep and everytime it's the same noobs not l2ping and instead think this will solve all thier problems. Next complaint. The rest of us have to ask zos to give us a non add on campaign to fight people that aren't playing the eso C&C edition. Why is it always the pvp lot that kill this game off. Always whining and never happy with anything.

And yet you've still have not given a valid reason to NOT do this. One person's opinion does not sum up a community at whole. Mabye the person you quoted isn't good enough to be aware of timers and combat. I personally have that ability and have used it in other mmos to great success. Why shouldn't we want to improve the game? Is timers really that bad to you? Are you really scared of other players utilizing their builds to maximum potential? You're so dodgy about this topic you reach for the most out of context reasons to not want timers. Do you really think people will ask for a campaign because of timers? No, they won't. Addons, mabye, because their are game breaking addons. You go from talking about an in-game timer system to a discussion about addons, which has nothing to do with timers. You sound like the one on the QQ train if anything.

I'll even help you out DRX. Real reasons to not want an ingame timer:
Possibly laggier game from another sysem having to take calculations (most likely not impactful)
    Uglier UI.
Wanting a more difficult combat system, that constantly requires internal counting, and many hours of playing to master. I feel like this is what you're really trying to say DRX. While this is creates more skill ceiling, it also diminishes the ammount of players that can use their builds in that higher ceiling. Therefore, the average player, plays much closer to the skill floor than ceiling. Adding in timers, puts many players towards the ceiling. This would also help class balancing to a degree, because more people would be playing at a higher potential, so more players would witness how the class performs at a higher potential, so therefore better feedback as a whole community.

Console players are not asking for the pop-ups from addons that flash 'potion ready' or 'execute now', those are not even mentioned in the OP. Rather a method to track buffs, dots, debuffs, etc. in form a numerical timer or something similar. Further it should be optional just like damage numbers.

So re-evaluate and address what the OP actually said or realize and accept that you're the one being dense.

I think you misunderstand how the timer info is used. Which is to say that based on the dynamics of a fight, disengagement for mechanics, adds and so forth, a player alters their rotation or other combat decisions based on how much time is left. They're not just playing braindead, and using the timers to auto-pilot.

Please don't forget this is a video game. There are very few people who really want to learn these timers for the sake of a video game. This is supposed to be fun, not a full time job. With the intended combat system of dodging blocking etc, animation cancelling, the plethora of gears and combinations, the insta-cast game, and lack of information such as class emblems, inspections, and tons of really bad and almost invisible animations, the skill ceiling is already high enough to make this game challenging; we can survive with timers without ruining skillfull play.

Ok. Here is what I am trying to say to you.

You basically want to go into the game...engage enemy...dot up..buff up. ..then proceed to play the game and just watch timers for the sake of efficiency rather than actually play as intended? All for the belief you think it'll be game changing AND fun? That's what you're saying?

You must be the kind of kids that rage hard everytime they die on blackops. You know the kind that scream "caaaaaaaaaaaannnntt" down the mic during the 1s open Comms during a kill and proceeds to smash the room up and beat him mom and blame thier dad's for losing at a game.

You seriously believe they'll "achieve class balance" and "raise potential" by that logic we should give kids in school exams the answers. The world is truly doomed.

Here is an offer and a serious one. Anyone on EU I am more than happy to group up and we'll see what's what. Not for a beat down but I'll pull a group together and we'll see what's actually going on with your game. Not a troll but in all seriousness you'd be amazed at what you can be doing wrong.

We'll go and hang out in cradle or pull some AA runs etc.

But seriously for pvp this isn't the answer. Icons won't save anything from any form of having more than 1 person on you. No human is going to process 2 fights and countdowns and flashing icons all at once. Don't kid yourself.
