Well you really think I would have started this thread if I cared about getting AP? I have a Grand Overlord and over 30 million AP in my inventory across my chars. Sure, it would have been enough to stay there for 10 minutes and calculate the ap/h, however a screenshot over a long time points out the problem way more in my opinion. Actually i was there for 4 hours but ZOS fixed it before I felt the need to post another screen. I can understand some people might call me a hypocrite but I can't do more than being honest about it. I also up for a perma "exploiter" title and a special AR icon or pve icon for pve exploiters
Yup, I think it would match your double mundus stones well
Thank you for noticing it ! Can I return the compliment?
Kris approve this post
Half of Exile would be on that server lol. That isn't even my dislike for Gefstyle etc. talking, we just all know the exploits Exile did, even if they were many moons ago.
Well no matter what you think we've done at least we earned our ranks. Any PvE AP farmers no matter what rank they get and started at will be remembered as that.
Personally ive jumped into enemy homebases and double mundus but its nowhere near as bad as cheating character progression not 1 ounce of my mind wanted to take part in this and wouldnt even if id not been rank 50 for 2 years
Enjoy the PvE.
Exile members were at BB mine though. I guess they are PVE AP farmers too? xD
I don't really care about who exploits and what exploits are done at this point because the game is ***. But when Exile are known for exploiting in the past (and BB mine if we're counting that as an exploit), how can an Exile member want exploiters to be kicked to a private server where they can't play with legit players lol.
Just because someone is in the guild doesnt automatically make them an exploiter, you have nothing to say against loucozor so you attack his guild which means youre personally attacking me. I was first rank 50 EU and gained it 2 years ago and you bring me into this thread. Even without BB mine people like you would rather flip outposts over and over than go out and actually PvP. Even if you guys get a decent rank you will still be nobody scrubs.
Wait so, if I'm at BB mine I'm an exploiter but if someone in Exile is at BB mine they're not an exploiter? Right... Makes a lot of sense I guess?
I don't really care whether you were first rank 50 EU or the last. I don't really care if I'm a nobody and you're a somebody. You're not exactly a good PVPer, and you're more well known for your exploiting than PVPing. I have heard you're pretty clever when it comes to playing the map so congrats on that I guess?
I haven't been flipping outposts, you might want to check your facts on that one. I don't play on Haderus, and on TF I haven't seen any outpost being flipped for farming. The only PVP I've been doing recently is raiding or duoing with friends lol.
If I wanted to bring you into this thread, I would have mentioned you. You're hurt because Lou made himself look like an idiot, so you're trying to save face for him and Exile. Get over yourself, it's embarrassing.
Why do super and regular have the same degree of absorption ? Im confused
covenant_merchant wrote: »you know the best punishment for thus Player would be the lock the ap gain equals the exploided aps in bleakers or bb mine.so lets say Player A has 1 mil ap mounthly on azura/tf whatever, exploided 4 mil ap now, then ap will be locked for 4 mounths. as ap is not only you rank but also Gold, 4 mil could be arround 3-4 mil Gold with the rng Containers etc.
As I've said, they removed all the stored AP from the characters that participated to the BB mine festivities. Be they innocent roleplayers like @KisoValley and me, or filthy exploiters taking advantage of broken mechanics and bringing shame to our alliance.
So is trading at Bleakers actually deemed cheating and facing any account sanctions or should I just join in with the people doing it and get my SP/Achievements faster?

How would you suggest that be dealt with? What should the penalty be for:
1. Someone who went to BB mine and hung around for a bit having fun watching and chatting with friends
2. Someone who spent two hours mostly AFK and made a 500k AP
3. Someone who spent a solid day and made a few million AP
4. Someone who abused the empower bug to wipe massive groups using an aoe ult whose first tick did 50k+ damage
5. Someone who abused the empower bug to 1-shot someone (as in the image above) with the first tick of radiant
There are different severity of actions, some of which affect other people significantly, and some of which do not.
This is why I've been pushing for a framework / a code of ethics and standards for action -> reaction rather than leave it all subjective with many a hypocrite calling for penalties to be imposed on people who did a heck of a lot less impactful activities than they themselves did historically.
There are 3 types of categories here:
Exploits/Cheats that directly affect other players: Cheat Engine, Empower Bug, Camo Hunter stacking
Exploits/Cheat that indirectly affect other players: Keep jumping via gap closer, infinite survey bug, this bug
Exploits/Cheats that do not affect anyone but the user: VMOL exploiting
The first one is completely inexcusable in PVP and should result in a ban. The second one, whilst serious, isn't game breaking enough to result in a ban unless it was obscenely abused and widely skewed the margin towards the exploiters favor wherein they otherwise would not have had a significant advantage. The 3rd one, while detrimental, should result in no more than a suspension as no other players suffered at the exploit/cheat's expensive.

Trading outposts is legitimate. A clever way of using the game mechanics, same as being fed AP etc.
BB mine, even though people were legitimately roleplaying there, was considered an exploit.

Where is the exploit/cheap tactic in roleplaying at a outpost? A good friend of mine, ex GO, Legendary Shey, roleplayed wars at Roebeck farm back in the day. If he can roleplay, so can I. Why are people crying about roleplaying at an outpost instead of a resource? Lol.

Cheating is still cheating.KisoValley wrote: »So is trading at Bleakers actually deemed cheating and facing any account sanctions or should I just join in with the people doing it and get my SP/Achievements faster?
@ZOS_BrianWheeler
Trading outposts is legitimate. A clever way of using the game mechanics, same as being fed AP etc.
BB mine, even though people were legitimately roleplaying there, was considered an exploit.
It's not legitimate. No matter how much you say so. It's not.
Show me where Zos say it isn't and i'll admit I'm wrong.
If roleplayers want to flip a keep to re-enact a war, I'm sure Zos has no problem with that tbh.
And here is why this every exploit and cheap tactic ever in this game has been abused.
Lol.
