60+ undaunted keys, i still can't get the shoulder i need

and some how some of the shoulder already started to receiving duplicated ones.

Yeah im pretty sure it's not the wrong chest. i can get wrong version or wrong traits.

FFS, more than 1 months, all i do in this game is doing pledges, 2 toons , 4 queues, occasionally some dlc dungeons or hard mode

Why would a Stamina dps even need light armour to increase it's weapon damage?

if i still can't get the should i need in this week, *** it i am quit.

Do whatever you want to do , im here just for releasing the rage.

Feel your pain but you are in the web they intended to weave. I agree its not a great system and I currently have stopped dungeons and only rely on crafted or purchasable gear.

I know that feeling. It took me 330 keys to get a divines Grothdarr shoulder.

Here are the chances to get a shoulder in the desired trait:

(*): Chances if they would remove prosperous and training.

So if you are looking for a specific divines shoulder e.g. medium divines you have a 50% chance after 200 keys. If you dont care about the weight but only want a divines shoulder the chances are 87% after 200 keys.

So if you dont have the shoulder after 200 keys you belong to the unlucky 50%!

@lishiping84 ...can't bag on you cuz you're right...I started getting discouraged after about a dozen keys

not a big fan of random groups and speed playing the content - because, well it feels like a huge grind...

I wouldn't think this would be horrible. Having a light and heavy piece along with 5 medium for the Undaunted passive seems like a good combo.

I'm 2 weeks in trying to get any weight any trait kragh shoulder. I thought getting the head was supposed to be the hard part!

Flip side of the coin, I got a medium divines on both Grothdaar and Ilambris on my first 10 keys. Saying that, I can't find any Skoria shoulder if my life depended on it.

lol i thought they'd delete this post already...

I am not a MMO fan, just a Bethesda rpg fan...

i just want to explore the world...and all kinds of dungeons

but the normal trial...is too easy. and most importantly, they don't drop purple jewelries which you can't improve the blue ones to purple.

and i need 20k dps to get into vet...

that's all i want.

at least the gears in the dungeons, you can farm anytime you want.

but hey, you only can get 2 or 3 keys per toon per day.

and as a dps, waiting is forever...

now it's more like a part time job after work. I fall a sleep in a dungeon with holding the W key...and falling off the cliff

seems like i do need to quit this game. at least for a while.

Hi,

I know something about statistics and the odds in this game to get a shoulder of
the right type are just overwhelming (about 1% of players may get the right type of shoulder
after so many tries and hours of play). Also, game updates have rendered some of those
hard to get shoulders obsolete so it is a never ending race! I see no rational for it other
than to keep you hooked in the game and spending time and money like a drug addict, which
is not ethical/fun at all!

ZOZ change the odds. Get rid of unnecessary shoulders and make the game more fun for all of us.

They really need to get rid of the 3 weight 9 trait loot pool they started forever ago. Just way to many sets in any box besides the DLC chest.

I personally opted out of the key RNG , I have a life and will have a gear cap increase bout the time I got what I want. So FAQ it.

You don't need monster helm for 20k dps, my stamplar suck, but with twice born star, night mother set and agility rings and necklace, I can produce 40k dps when crit. No monster helm that is.

If you still want monster helm, buy it from golden vendor in Cyrodiil.

I feel your pain immensely about the Shoulders, but at least the game is a bit more lenient when it comes to the Head pieces.

Last night I for the first time finished Tempest Island on Veteran and I'd been hankering to get that second piece of Stormfist. The Boss gave me a Reinforced Light piece but this guy in our group said he'd give me his for nothing. The dude bro gave me a Heavy Divines. I was so happy I didn't have to do that horrible Boss all over again.

Ilambris seems to only drop in Well-Fitted, Sturdy, and Prosperous for me. When it actually drops, which is very infrequent.

That in itself is a problem. There should at least be a system in place to stop you from receiving duplicate drops so you can sort of work toward your desired armor piece overtime.

It took me 36 keys, all spent on the same chest, to get ANY Grothdar shoulders--forget the armor type or the trait. When I finally got one --medium armor with the training trait--I was so happy I immediately started wearing it. Someday I'll worry about the trait, but this is not that day

RNG sucks.

the thing is, will you continue doing those pledges afterwards?

There need to be an end for this kind of farming.

And it should be in a month at most. Keep repeating these things at a daily basis is boring and take a lot of pressure (i mean not real pressure but some kind of pressure you shouldn't have in a game) if you missed a day or something.

I've never finish a single daily object in GTA online. I hate these daily missions in any games, especially some of them need a group to finish.

If this is not daily basis reward, i wouldn't complain at all.

Forgot to share my own story related to this.

26 gold keys used (in rapid succession, i had saved them) trying to get troll king shoulders.

2 troll king shoulders dropped, I believe one was light training and the other was medium prosperous.

I play this game to have fun. That kind of grind is NOT fun. Same with the crafting system. NOT fun. So to avoid the doldrums, I have the other ES games to occupy my time. Still plenty of combinations of characters to play on all of them.

My noob hit level 45 and was given a free key for signing up. Forgetting that I wasn't logged into my main I used the key and got a perfect Molag Kenna shoulders.... At level 45 not even champ... I was mad.

Since the heads are able to be traded amongst group members and drop every time, the shoulders are much harder to get.

Sorry to hear that...I got really lucky, I pulled a Infernal Guardian light in divines my first ever undaunted key...which was exactly what I wanted, but I imagine the grind would be horrible if I hadn't.
