This doesn't change the fact that I have openly admitted to doing it for a few hours maybe gained a couple 100k of AP but I never once advanced so far in rank or ability that it affected other players.
I am still under AR 30 and only used the AP to buy gear which btw RNG is still shitting out worthless traits. So If I harmed anyone I harmed myself by wasting the time doing this that unfortunately I can never get back. Stop crying over spilt milk and just play the game.

It is the epitome of an exploit. That's less debatable than it being condemable.
It's an error in the codebase that is knowingly used by players to gain a positive outcome that would not be possible without the exploit. Specifically, BB mine erroneously gives 6k AP, allowing players to farm the resource and generate vastly larger AP gains than they would have been able to if BB gave its correct 1.2k AP reward.
Farming BB Mine =/= Farming Outposts.
Outposts take more time to cap, lose, and reflip than a resource, and are thus less efficient to farm than a resource when the two give equal AP rewards. Moreover, in some ways, outposts can be easier to defend and hold forever than keeps, because outposts have only three walls that can be sieged and a much smaller perimeter to guard.

I was referring to the outpost farming, which as far as I am concerned, is not an exploit...
And both BB mine and the Bleakers' flipping yields the same AP - 200k/hour. You're welcome to join us.
As for pursuing the victory of the campaign? Go preach it to Big Boss. Or call me when it actually means and gives something beyond that same cheap fleeting feeling of satisfaction you get from gaining AP. Lets face it, PVP is beyond broken this patch. I can't streak, I can't see my enemies.. And that's just piling up on all the crap we had to fight through the previous patches : procs, players stacking like crazy, more tankiness from every single random pug out there, yadda yadda.
Also adding to the whole "winning the campaign" sentiment, you clearly haven't played on TF recently if you think anything other than AD has a chance of winning it. (Which incidentally adds to the willingness of many players to farm outposts instead). When you roll over everyone with 40+ man trains even at 6am, at some point people will stop bothering and you'll be left alone to play with your stone walls and getting high on that wonderful feeling of "winning the campaign".

You don't get caught for a crime then list off in court all the other people you know who didn't get punished for other crimes. Sorry lol. The judge would look at you and laugh.
If there's no legal framework defining said crime, or if it's gray af and you can come with a plausible defense like roleplaying, you'd laugh at the judge.

Put on the pants. Considering the nature of perma bans that have been handed out in the past over petty, non exploitative issues (myself included), I expect the bigger deal issues like Cheat Engine and Exploits like this to be treated seriously and not lightly. The problem with these kids today is you guys and everyone else hands them a trophy for 8th place. At some point they need to learn accountability so please be a responsible corporate citizen and uphold some integrity in your game.
I pledge to make a huge crown purchase if perma bans are handed out to these cheaters. Were trying to sustain an honest, fun pvp community and there are still certain individuals who were clearly never spanked enough as a kid that need to fulfill some meaningless level of leetness in game at the expense of others.
I would also recommend perma banning anyone who uses words like Exposed, Salty, and Pleb...you know, nerdspeak.

It doesn't matter what ZOS does the mistake was admitted and blame has been laid.
The player have acted in accordance with the objectives of the map and have not altered cheated or exploited any part of the coding in order to gain an advantage over any other player.
There can be no action taken against the players when ZOS was made aware of the bug on February 7th by the players via their own bug forum.
If ZOS takes adverse action against any player it would be a public relations nightmare for ZOS and there share holders.
What ZOS should have done was hot fix the error immediately.
Precedence for this type of activity was set when this occurred during the release of the CP system. ZOS made the error and took weeks to correct and punished no one nor did they roll back any of the CP that had been earned which by the way clearly gave advantage to many players hence why the gated CP system was introduced.
There is nothing more to discuss other than when the hotfix will be released.
You are like a little kid, face full of cookie crumbs, standing next to an empty cookie jar, telling mommy you didn't eat all the cookies, and if you did it was no big deal because cookies are made to be eaten.
are they not made to be eaten? If I was stealing them then yeah it would be an issue, but I'm not. I am simply turning a resource from one color to the appropriate color of the faction that owns the keep. I can not alter the fact that it provides more AP than others and it would be illogical to simply ignore the fact that it is blue when it is a yellow home keep. Perhaps you can tell the other factions that are located to the east and west to stay in their territory. One should never cross a bridge or a gate for the purpose of gaining something that is not theirs to begin with.
Interpretation is a very hard process, many players simply make judgements based on their own character or experience. When you are dealing with a global population you can not impose your own values on others. It always requires compromise that's what democracy is suppose to be about. ZOS has had a week to act on this and hotfix it. They are the ones who have failed in a responsibility to the players. It's also up to them to decide what is right and wrong.
You are using a lot of words trying to explain that you didn't knowingly use an exploit. You got caught.
Omg who cares. His words are pretty and should work as a credible excuse.
