A reddit user posted a thread a couple of days ago of a new info he/she recently datamined.ONE HAND AND RUNE

So I just found this in the gamefiles...

    It's just pure magic. The weapon skill tree is called "One Hand & Rune". That pretty much says you'll be able to craft a Rune to enchant your empty hand with to use spells.

    That would be nice. And it does look reminiscent of a Morrowind spell.

    But every indication from ZOS is that spellcrafting is not even being actively worked on, let alone close to release.

    Hope , with this weapon tree , Hybrids will actually be a thing .
    AND DARK ELF MASTER RACE WILL RISE ABOVE ALL!! cos you know , resource scaling n stuff

    It's not like I want to crash the party, but I kinda want to point out that this icon is currently used as a skill menu icon. So it might be another one of those ideas that got scrapped and reused during the deveploment. But since developers are somewhat lazy, they could've decided to keep the old name on it.

    What annoys me is that its in game already. Go to any of the DLC areas and youll likely find an NPC wearing the spears and even using them in combat. Im sure its not as fleshed out as the current options. But the basis for a weapon skill line is there.
